The Chicago Fire owner looks a good bet and it is very random if one of their fans is quoting us.

Theres not that much debt. King power have written off their debt and macquarie is largely on receivables.

We have 5 players left that weve paid a fee of over £2m for, on them i doubt theres anything outstanding bar Skipp. It's really not that high providing we dont stay in league one for too long.

The confirmation that the club is up for sale is fantastic news. It could be another year or so but the process is at least underway. What the right price is will be determined by the market but I don't think they can either afford to keep us or even want to keep us. Let's hope the fit & proper person's test doesn't screw us over its and we don't end up with owners who are as bad or worse.

Where have I defended them?

 We are about to start a new season and most on here seem reasonably positive about the moves the club are making.

 

Some of you just can’t stop whining and looking for faults whatever happens.

 

Things are shite but try but look to be improving, try and take something positive from that, you may actually enjoy this season.

If we aren’t sold then I expect the owner to just cover the expenses to avoid us going into administration. no investment. More sales of academy players. We will stagnate further.

Nearly all transfers fees are paid in instalments, so it’s doesn’t surprise we have some outstanding transfer fees

What's changing exactly? We've got another manager in who is obsessed with possession football for Top's continued vanity project. We're loaning players from clubs 2 divisions above us who not long ago we were lightyears ahead of and the clubs finances are in the toilet

 

The only good thing that's happening is we've got rid of about 70% of the talentless leeches who have helped ruin us over the last few years meaning we're actually gonna be forced to play our youngsters who haven't had a look in
