Rather that than some just playing 45 each.

Possibly because Martin wants to give the key players as many minutes as possible by starting them across two games in one day, and is treating next Saturday’s game as the last pre-season game?

Then why not play the fringe players in the earlier fixture and go strong tonight? Players still getting the minutes. Seems a bizarre thing to do, to not try your strongest team in the final preseason game.

Vieites; Aluko, Faes, Souttar, McFarlane; Choudhury, Page, Neale; Carr, Hutchinson, Opoku.

 

Aluko and Joseph is 50/50

 

Other than that probably Souttar (who is leaving) and Page?

 

They are the fringe / youth
