Yeah suppose so. Page ought to be nailed on starter but seemingly going to have to force his way in off the bench.

I think he will get minutes.

It’s quite normal, lots of teams play two friendlies same day simply to give lots of minutes to more players

Agree with Page he should be starting ahead of Skipp, only way he will devlop and he looks like a player, playing Page ahead of Skipp could actually bring back the money we have lost on buying him.

Almost sold and was awful last friendly.

Not sure why you are bothered about not getting to watch him one last time.

If he’s almost sold, why risk him getting injured (which, let’s face it, is very possible)? It’s clearly nowhere near as close as some have suggested.

Hamza, Souttar, Hutchinson, Aluko, McFarlane (seen as he's a new signing).

For what it's worth it's not because I think the team tonight is poor. I think that still beats most teams in this league. It's more because I think if people are paying money they should be warned about things like the game earlier. Even if you don't think the XI is affected that much, a few on that bench won't play a game this season.

Hutchinson is on the bench, Souttar won't play another professional game for us, I can't imagine anyone is actually annoyed about not getting to watch Choudhury who has been in the team for almost a decade.

Aluko and McFarlane I can accept.

You remind me of my Father.

I hated my Father.

Tell that to my 2 year old daughter who is at the ground now in her HAMZA 69 LCFC 26/27 replica away kit absolutely furious. No doubt her violent tendencies will rear their ugly head when she gets home and I'll bear the brunt of it

Why are they playing a friendly on the sly while selling tickets for this like it’s the only one?

My guess is it's a sly move not to announce a closed door game on the same day, as many fans are expecting to see a full strength team tonight for the first and last time before the season starts.

If they had announced there was another game earlier in the day which involved full or fringe players also then many tickets for tonights would have remained unsold as it then just becomes another pre-season friendly.

They have branded/marketed it as a major, final pre season game, against an Italian club but in reality, after doing what they have despicably done today with this unannounced behind closed doors game against Cov, and blindsiding fans into buying tickets for it have just shown how much contempt they have for us.

It f*cking stinks!
