Based on what we saw, likely to need a scan to know

He didn’t, really. I’m sure he’ll be ok in league one, but didn’t pull up any trees tonight.

I doubt he’ll play much to be honest but he had a decent shot, played a good ball to BDCR and linked up quite well a couple of times. Obviously didn’t pull up any trees but did well.

I'm not THAT concerned about Okoli in League 1, but for the amount we paid for him, it's surprising just how often he manages to put himself at a disadvantage just by not getting the very basics right.

I mean, look at the highlights of the game @7.10, look at the state of his feet, he somehow ends up square on to a guy running directly at him, anyone with pace there blazes past him with no issue. This isn't a moment of genius from the attacker, Okoli did half the work for him by putting himself off balance and unable to close the pass down.

This is a "£20m" defender. He’s 6 ft 3”with the balance of someone who’s 12 ft 3”

Surprising how often I’ve seen him do this where he just cannot get his feet right.

So bleak hearing the same old names being their same old useless selves. Martin's got to demand severe action this month or he's done at any serious level.

He was an Agent signing with no actual scouting. Clear as day

I’ve posted this in the transfer section but thought I’d add it here. Looked ominous for Nello and for the club assuming he wants out. If it’s a knee ligament then he’ll be seeing out his last year on a full non playing rehab and then leaving on a free at the end of the season. Standard LCFC friendly luck.

So about 60th best in England then

That’s life under Top and Rudkin.
It’s a harsh reality of how far they’ve let this once great club fall. The sooner they sell, the better.

It’s not going to be another bad season we have already had some bad ones look on the bright side you’ve got what you wanted with young players and for a striker in Cullen bet you’d be moaning if we didn’t sign a striker no pleasing some people is there get behind them must be exhausting being so negative all the time

As much as I agree with you on this can I question your use of Nello?! Typing his actual name only added another character.

Sorry, it was just an odd nickname to call him.

are we thinking the players not in Genoa squad are the ones leaving?

I just think he thought this was the best way to get get full 90 mins to as many players as possible to get their fitness up. I think you're over thinking it. But saying that I would expect Faes and Souttar to go still.

The rest, I wouldn't read too much into it.

Footballers (and fans) often have silly surname based nicknames. It’s not meant to upset and I didn’t realise that making one up for Benjamin Nelson would trigger someone like it clearly has you. I bet you’re glad Winksy and Beggo have left and feel worried around references to Skippy and Soutts. Future trigger warning - I will be occasionally referencing Cullen as Cullo, Jayden Joseph as JJ and maybe Watson as Watto. Sorry in advance 😬

Just watched the ‘highlights’ and saw nothing positive at all.

Unless seeing Luke Thomas show yet again that he’s not EFL standard is a positive?
