I thought we looked for aggressive under Marti atleast he got into the opposition half and passed it around.

 

I think atleast 80% of that first half the ball was in our half being passed around our defence until Okoli tried to pass the ball and give the ball away leading to a Northmapton Break away.

 

Then it was rinse and repeat

The problem is the style, smashing possession stats with no substance, always playing the safe pass like we're up against man city when it's bloody Northampton town. We need to grow some balls, we're just tepid.

Simmo. It's because all of our recent successes have been from playing attacking football and watching good players.

It will be the same until we have a CF who can offer a threat, biggest issue last season.

 

Having Mavididi and BCDR destroy all attaching momentum.
