FosseSpark Posted 11 August Posted 11 August (edited) Bristric has to be straight in and Skipp, Mav, BDR out. 4141. Tuck Joseph/McFarlane in when in possession. Burns and Watson working hard staying wide. Cullen and Chaplin getting in box in support of Bristric Stola Joseph Okoli Souttar McFarlane Braybrooke Burns Chaplin Cullen Watson Bristric would be 9 changes from our starting line ups of last season. so the swamp would be considered virtually drained. Alves, Aluko and Page could still get good minutes and we can bring on 'experienced' duds like choudhury, thomas, skipp, mavididi, bdr if we absolutely have to. Edited 11 August by FosseSpark
Ryy Posted 11 August Posted 11 August If I see BDR starting and Mavididi starting I’ll refuse to watch 4

Chelmofox Posted 11 August Posted 11 August Must start Alves. Any suggested lineup excluding him gets a lot of tutting from me. 2 2
ACF Posted 11 August Posted 11 August Stol JJ Hamza Souttar McFarlane Page Braybrooke Alves Chaplin Watson/Burns/Woyo Cullen Basing the Hamza selection off the one performance against Watford under Rodgers, but we need someone back there who ham a pass the ball. Skipp off the bench as he can fill a number of roles. Alves doesn’t deserve dropping, anyone but Mav on the left. If too soon for a Chaplin start, move Alves into the middle. 1
Muzzy_no7 Posted 11 August Posted 11 August (edited) Like others have mentioned Stiffy and Nobby have no place featuring in this one. Jakub JJ Okoli 😂🤷♂️ Souttar LT Skipp Braybrooke Chaplin or Alves Burns Bristic Watson EDIT: Alves, Cullen, Aluko and Page off the bench. Edited 11 August by Muzzy_no7 1

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 11 August Posted 11 August Just had a tot up and you can make good cases for no Hamza and no Thomas in the matchday squad. Please Brussel.
Lambert09 Posted 11 August Posted 11 August I think we start page and convince him to stay! That’s what I would do anyway

GrobyLCFC31 Posted 11 August Posted 11 August Let’s park all the anti Nottingham songs this weekend, we can’t force any kind of rivalry with these, they’re by far the biggest club in Nottingham ahead of Notts Forest down the road - . All energy into supporting the new lads 🦊 1
Chelmofox Posted 11 August Posted 11 August Reckon we should just park the bus against this lot. That will throw them off. 1
ronnup Posted 11 August Posted 11 August Big boys in town, they'll be well up for it. Think it'll be a humbling for Martin, loads of posession then bursts of excited attacking from them, which their fans will love. 2-0
coolhandfox Posted 11 August Posted 11 August (edited) Some miserable people in here, there is as much of culture problem with the fan base as there was with last years squad Feels like I'm surrounded by 100s of Mavididi's. Edited 11 August by coolhandfox 1

Not sure what you mean, I’ve seen loads of positive comments about notts county. None of them from the people in the forum who actually support notts county mind. 1

CosbehFox Posted 11 August Posted 11 August Will get away with against County as I don’t think they will have the attacking quality on the counter attack. They will very much play like Northampton. Burton will be similar. The run of MK Dons to Stockport will be interesting because those teams might feel the need to be more pressing and I suspect we will be able to play around them or they be clever on the counter attack and actually far more effective. It’s not gonna be the most enjoyable season because even if we become a well oiled machine, a lot of teams are going to be very low block
