kingpowerout Posted 31 August Posted 31 August If he does go then a decent fee and a loan back for the season would be ideal
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 31 August Popular Post Posted 31 August His brother is rivalling Maguire's for being a complete helmet here, pathetic. 11
jimsmallman Posted 31 August Posted 31 August I know we're all trying to think of reasons why he isn't going there but let's be realistic... he's just been to watch the team that he's heavily linked with in their directors box. He's as good as gone. If Souttar was at a Wrexham game or Hamza at a Derby game we would presume absolutely the same. Doesn't matter that he supports them, he knows the optics of doing something like this and if he wasn't leaving he wouldn't have been there. Is a shame as he's bloody great, but we are where we are now.

Muzzy_no7 Posted 31 August Posted 31 August Maybe United, in the process of courting the entire family, have them all a box and out of respect Page didn’t actually attend? 1

Or maybe his dad with links to most folk in the Manchester football community can bag that sort of seat? It’s certainly not a pure indicator he’s leaving 1
Lesta2014 Posted 31 August Posted 31 August Looks like his brother lives in Manchester doesn’t he? Hardly a surprise he went to the game.
Ric Flair Posted 31 August Posted 31 August I stand corrected, might not be his brother. Think it's his cousin? Either way he's deliberately rustling. 1
Popular Post DezFox Posted 31 August Popular Post Posted 31 August If page went you United for 15 mill now. He couldn’t be replaced and the money would cover okoli, skipp, mavs, souttar and BDCR wages for abit. That’s the reality of the situation we are in. Effectively giving him away for free, the money keeps the lights on, that’s all. 5
BKLFox Posted 31 August Posted 31 August I’d say that is right of the directors box, if you were going to take a picture from the Directors box you’d take 1 with the halfway line in the centre of your picture 🤷♂️ Not to say he’s not there watching but he’s not in the directors box from that angle I wouldn’t have thought.

For me whether it is the directors box or not is more important than if page was there or not. If it is just a normal box, none of it has a bearing on the transfer for me, regardless of if he was there or not.
adejo92 Posted 31 August Posted 31 August He aint going anywhere, not this window. Id imagine Man Utd will keep a close eye on his development over the next few months, but he's going nowhere this window. 1
StevieH Posted 31 August Posted 31 August If we let Page go we are screwed. Would doubt Martin would let him go this late. Centre midfield a crucial position and don't want to be left with Skipp.
Qwerty Posted 31 August Posted 31 August He’s a Man U fan, so hopefully he just went to watch a game 🤞

"Yeah, he was good and had a really bright future, but at least he paid for Stephy Mavididi's wages." Honking.

He probably wasn't even at the game, but even it he was, perhaps hes got mutual friends with the likes of Maguire or Tielamans. Perhaps his agents got contacts..perhaps hes got mates at Utd from national youth football.. Perhaps hes paid to go corporate from the silly money hes on. People acting like Carricks come and picked him up from Seagrave and taken him to the match. Edited 31 August by adejo92

It doesn’t help when a number of Leicester fan X accounts are only too happy to repeat any old shite they hear. There’s a group of them who will literally post any rumour they come across, no matter how baseless. And then the others in the group will dutifully retweet the same rumours, giving them an entirely false veneer of authenticity. They’re basically just a circle jerk of thin-skinned attention seekers, but it’s remarkable how many people take then seriously. 1
Simonb Posted 31 August Posted 31 August Probably agree a sale for next summer to join them. Effectively a loan to us for a season. Top will ne pushing to sell him now though
