After yesterday’s game I’m thinking 7-10 as we won’t score enough goals to get straight back up.

After yesterday's game, I'm thinking similar, although on the basis we'll concede too many.

It's not about what we want, or not bearing the thought of staying in League One, that clouds your judgement of where we will finish.

Personally I think play-offs, even before yesterday's game. But maybe this poll was better off being posted after 10 games, so the team has bedded itself in.

Initial suspicion based on the two games is 7-10th. There are still too many wasters in the squad and our style of play will not work, and I think Russell will stick with them both to the point we’re not able to finish higher than that.

Same after watching them against Northampton and yesterday any optimism I had has drained away.

We are nowhere near the total reset/fresh start we need. Our back four are incapable of playing this style of football.

Personally. I think we’re going down. I think all the same problems exist as they did last season, the attentions are on selling the club, not the progression of it. There’s too many toxic variables going on for us to have success on the pitch.

I don’t think Martin is the right fit, and I think eventually it will all come to ahead.

I know people said this last season, but I can't see us going down. We have signed so many players that I don't think we will dislike as much as the last batch, especially given that they are so new still. They don't have that losing stink on them.

Yes theres some we want gone still, but as said, its not 9 of the starting 11 as before.

I have said mid table previously, and I can still see that. Hope we get a run like Russel pulled off at Southampton before.

I think Alves, Braybrooke, JJ are going to only get better, chuck in Bristric once he gets going.

Think Burns and Chaplin will come good too.

Just need to sort of the CBs and LB and we will be flying.

Slow start, then motoring.

Our defence concedes too many chances and we do not create enough chances to win games playing this style of play and neither RM or KP will change things.

We will be relegated again.

After yesterdays performance and seeing how the squad is shaping up (goalscorers,  leadership, pace, style of play) I could see anywhere between edge of the playoffs and down to lower midtable.

I think we need to see  7/8 more games first though. Martin stunk the place out in his first 4 games with Southampton as they adjusted to his style of play. Think they took a few hammerings.

I think that game last week is probably doing a lot of heavy lifting and I'm guilty of it myself. I really hope that was teething problems rather than a sign of things to come, but unfortunately history really isn't kind on this sort of thing. I had similar thoughts after the Wednesday game a year ago, and Martin is pretty renowned for having games like that. We won it but the opposition were genuine muck, even relative to this league.

Lots of it hinges on how good Bristric actually is and how fit he stays. If we're really not bothering with any more forwards then we are hinging on this lad being brilliant - which he might be.

I think a lot of our recruitment has been loading into the same position while leaving other key areas undercooked. Centre halves remain an issue and could change a lot in the next two weeks.

But the flip side is maybe things do just click. Maybe Martin does start to turn his career around. Maybe our signings are just a bit too good for the opposition. If all this happens, we will walk it.

There are just a few too many concerns for me to have any confidence in. That confidence will only properly return when I see proper evidence of it.

3rd.

After what I've seen so far I would definitely take 3rd. I think we could end up miles off the top.

Very last season so far.

No idea. That could be our worst performance this season.

Could be our best.

We really dont have any kind of barometer for this level and these players.

I think mid table.  This is the worst squad we’ve ever had by a country mile.  I think it’s good enough to not drop again but having said that, everyone will raise their game against us and we just continuously, without question, fold like a pack of cards when pressure ramps up.

it’s been that way for years, and shows no sign of changing.

Not one single iota of optimism for me this season.  In fact, I don’t think I’ll see us challenging for cups or being reasonably successful in the top flight again in my lifetime.

Either way, if we fail to go up, we’re probably toast. In fact, we will be. There’s no chance this club survives anymore than a season at this level.

Gone 7th-10th as things stand, whilst realising a lot could happen in the remainder of the window.

Unfortunately my predictions in the last few seasons, whilst appearing negative on the face of it, have ended up positive in light of what happens in reality….

We will either go up or try again next year. One way or another  we will get through this.We are Leicester City.

We’re not going to stay at sub 1 xG per game and I think Notts County only rallied because we were so poor in possession - we didn’t relieve any pressure by offering a threat.

The worrying thing is it was the wrong selection, wrong style and wrong approach topped off with really poor execution.

With Macfarlane at LB and Bristric up front were a much better team. What worries me is I don’t think McCarthy will get dropped and it will take Martin too long to figure out which attacking configuration works.

No point throwing the baby out with the bath water just yet but we’re stunting ourselves with this manager. The quality is there.

At worst I’d say we get a low play off points total but that’s only because we have 2-5 players that just have no business at this level.

We won’t get to next year, if we fail to go up this season, we’re done.

We will get to next season no doubt.

It may be painful and not as we know it but we will be here, hopefully with new owners .
