Not a bad half for first game. Notts came out all bluster as expected first 5 but after that they have dipped energy and dont look as fit as us to be honest. After that all Leicester and growing well into the game. Alves different class and once Bristric gets up and running we will have the cutting edge up front to finish off the good moves. Very promising 👌

All you need in this league is a few average but physical and know where the goal is strikers like Jack Marriott who's scored a first half hatrick for Reading but we piss about with flimsy Reid and Cullen who just float about

I was very optimistic.  But our lack of teeth is worrying. And absolute inability to absorb the amallest amount of pressue is unacceptable.  I. Not seeing anything different from last season. We may as well have daka and ayew playing,  skipp, bdr have no valid footballing reaso to be anywhere near that pitch.

The worrying thing is...its is 100% rangers we are watching. Russell as learned nothing, and show is Inflexibility.

Doing ok seeing as we are playing with 9 men.

Not sure if Reid and Cullen are false 9s, false 10s or just false footballers. But they are offering nothing, means we can't get put unless we can get it to Alves.

Joseph has defended well but he's so slow on the ball. Thomas has been as predicted. Skipp atrocious but some of the passes into him have been awful.

Braybrooke lost a lot of the time but does look bright in and around the box.

Alves the bright spark.

Lacking the physicality to compete.

Got a bit better after the first 10 mins

How Alves got criticised by someone on here I don’t know, been probably the best player

Braybrooke done alright in the middle, good feet for that chance

Skipps done ok, not as bad as some are making out

Cullens been anonymous

Thomas looks so shaky it’s unreal

Burns done ok, like to see him take his man on more

They do look like they’ve got a goal in them though so we need to create a lot more

When we come up against a team with pace, we're going to get murdered.

And we'll never achieve anything with that Ronald McDonald tribute act at LB. If we genuinely cannot find a better LB than him, we might as well give up.

Yeah, we’re effectively playing strikerless and no team has the quality to do that in league one.

Everyone picking on Reid but he's done more than Cullen. Bristric on for Cullen IMO

Slow start, but I don't think it was anywhere near as bad as some are making out.

We know how we're going to play under Martin- no escaping that. He's not going anywhere because we can't afford to sack him anyway. So I'm going to try and not get worked up when we inevitably **** things up at the back occasionally, in the hope that we improve as the season goes on (as Southampton did under him).

Absolutely right. Our inability to address this is beyond belief

If we manage to get a proper striker I think we’ll piss it honestly, not been too bad, County always were gonna be a test and up for it, problem is this passive style of play a lot of teams will treat us like a cup final

Notts County being massively overrated though because they've ran around a bit. Chucked a few balls in the box, that's it. But that's what we are going to have to put up with.

Even though Thomas was crap I still think Cullen was worse. He offered nothing and hid behind players never moved in space to offer an outlet, which resulted in Thomas going back and losing it. Cullen off and striker on
