So I’m guessing this lad and Bristric cover our two ESC spots for the season(Foreign signings who don’t meet certain criteria).

 

Any other signings we make from abroad will have to fill certain requirements, either a strong amount of international caps, a strong showing in a continental competition for their respective team, or currently plying their trade in a Band 1 or 2 league(Jupiler and Eredivisie being our more realistic destinations).

We ought to sign that other 6'6" Man City youngster. His name escapes me but he's had a few loans here and there in the EFL recently to decent success but he's 22/23 now so probably ready to move on.

As much as I hate our local rivals (Inter Turku) i have to say this guy seems to have a good head on his shoulders and understands what he wants and how to progress as a footballer. He has already been on Inter Milans academy and didn't seem to like his life ovet there too much and made it clear that next step has to be on team that he sees fit and on the city he likes. I would assume he liked Leicester training centre quite a bit and sees it so he will be playing on championship next year. 

 

Just happy to see him gone from Inter.

In all seriousness, this is the way forward. Pick out gems from these sort of league for low cost and train them up and sell on for a profit.

Leicester set to sign Kangasniemi

Latest from Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph:

Leicester City are closing in on the signing ofInter Turku centre-back Ilari Kangasniemi.

It’s understood the clubs have agreed a £2m deal for the Finland U21 international.

The 19-year-old is due to arrive in England to undergo a medical with the League One side.

Kangasniemi was a youth player for Inter Milan before moving to Finnish side Inter Turku last summer.

Cannot wait to hear Matt Elliot pronounce his name.  Great signing and can I say WELL DONE the recruitment Team (I cannot believe I have just written that).  This is the type of signing we should be making and from what has been reported from Finland, he is capable of doing great things for us.
