scinnell Posted 25 August Posted 25 August Get rid on a free along with his inflated wages. No fvcking about asking for a few million.
splinterdream Posted 25 August Posted 25 August Whilst if we were in.the championship i'd be happy with this, i cant help but think he improved us on saturday when he played. I'd much rather see Skipp go 2
dmayne7 Posted 25 August Posted 25 August Genuinely grinning ear to ear about this. How fxking sad is that . Please be true.
Donwebbio Posted 25 August Posted 25 August Not a popular opinion, but unless we have an alternative to bring in or the offer was too good to turn down, I would keep him and play him every week. I think with a run of games he could be a very good CDM at this level. At least he has a tenacity and passion that Skipp lacks. 4

But his career has largely been a frustrating one that's just never looked like really going anywhere. Seems to have a knack for always being one level below whatever we need at the time - whatever division we've been in. Not to mention the off the field issues. I've got less animosity towards him than the likes of Faes/Okoli etc., but he's still one that I'll be glad to see moved on.
Wortho Posted 25 August Posted 25 August I saw him on loan at Sheffield United in one game. He was booked early on and looked the worst player on the pitch. He got hooked before an inevitable red card. Sheff fans thought he was great 😂
Popular Post Dan Posted 25 August Popular Post Posted 25 August I agree with people saying he's better than Skipp but I don't know how many times we need to be let down by these players to realise they basically all need to be binned. There is such a cycle with our players. The phases are: 1. Collapse to pathetic defeat at home 2. One of the subs is less embarrassing than the players who started 3. Fans start thinking said player is the option going forward 4. Manager agrees, starts said player 5. Said player involved in the next pathetic defeat. Judging by this thread we have just entered phase 3. This happens with nearly all of our players. Okoli, Skipp, Choudhury, Bob the biggest culprits. If we keep Choudhury there will come a point where Skipp starts this process as well. 10 3
weacceptrejects Posted 25 August Posted 25 August If any of the Derby staff are read this article I couldn't speak highly enough about Hamza hes an amazing footballer at his peak who has been indispensable in our fall from the premiership . Please, please buy him hes far to good for us. 1

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 August Posted 25 August Skipp is worse but he should still be going, cheerio you shit ****
SafewayFox Posted 25 August Posted 25 August Hamza is, and always will be a DM that can’t read the game. Often walks around yet some on here say his “work rate and physicality are his best strengths”. He can’t pass a ball, only ever makes one of those “big tackles” as often caught napping. That’s before you mention his disgustingly large salary and off-field antics. Get him gone. 1

ALC Fox Posted 25 August Posted 25 August I hate thinking this about an academy product but he hasn't been good enough for us for a long time. I do, however, think he's more than good enough for this level but has been contaminated by the years of underachievement and is a big part of us being much less than the sum of our parts. He needs to go. I'd rather not to Derby but beggars can't be choosers. I hope he puts his personal indiscretions and this sorry period at Leicester behind him and has a decent end to his career, as long as it doesn't come at our expense.
Grebfromgrebland Posted 25 August Posted 25 August With the state of the current squad we will miss him. We definitely need some proper midfield replacement with strength and aggression otherwise we're cooked.
kingpowerout Posted 25 August Posted 25 August Incoming…signs a new 3 year deal and loaned to Derby for the season 🫣 2

We're desperate for physical presence in the middle of the park and Hamza is our only midfielder who offers any. We need two players of that kind—one first choice and one back-up. So as it stands we need to recruit one and if Hamza goes we will need to find two in the next week. Do you think that is feasible?

I think this is true of a lot of our players. Leicester to them are synonymous with low performance, underachievement, relegation, losing. It's why the nuclear clearout option was the only real one that could change things around. But obviously the useless idiots still value penny pinching. 1
