YESSSS, I don't have to feel obliged to go to the game on the 26th because I stupidly bought a season ticket.

You never know I might never have to watch Russell Ball in Person again.

If they have any sense they'll spend that two weeks trying to get these lads match fit but they'll instead spend it dicking around trying to teach McCarthy how to pass the ball to Luke Thomas.

It’s only 2 weeks, not months

Going 14 days unbeaten should do wonders for our mental health and general wellbeing

But if they arrange a behind closed doors friendly against a league 2 club and screen it don’t do it to yourself, avoid the temptation, what you don’t know can’t hurt you.

2 weeks to fvck about and then sack him a day before our next league game.

Or wait till we return from the window lose to a last minute goal to a striker, That never scored prior to that (Mateta), THEN sack the manager, have 2 absolute idiots in charge for a crucial week of 2 winnable but lost home games and end up going down.

Good odds on doing that again then👍

Aren't we stronger without our Internationals?? :D

Joking aside, as others have said, it is likely to be more youth internationals than senior so we’d be up shit creek as it’s the senior ‘experienced’ players letting us down!

It's horrible to think though that on the training pitch he will be doubling down on Brussell ball for all that time where it could have been used by a new manager to implement a new approach.

You can look at it from the view that it gives him 2 or 3 weeks of solid training ground work with a lot of new players, an almost pre-season type settling in spell. He can't then use the excuse about bedding in. It also gives most of the squad 2 weeks break ( as if the 2 months they just had wasn't enough) and he can put the fatigue excuse in the bin too. All in all, even if he keeps his job after the window, the excuses are null and void.

We also avoid the shame of losing to bottom of the table Wigan.

I wonder if the Wigan game will be arranged for 27th october.

One of Oxford's postponed games is now 27th October so I would imagine one of ours moves there. Wigan was first in line but not sure if that order matters or not. Then I guess one more in November.

Bradford in November will also be postponed so I guess that will be December or January.

Also if both Leicester and Blackpool exit the fa cup in the 1st round, there's a free weekend at start of December potentially.
