People moaning about RM and the defence. Souttar should organise that wall. 2 men? Plus an own goal. Players themselves should know better.

The wall is organised by the keeper usually

4 away goals and 3 points away from home but doesn't even begin to tell the whole story..

I genuinely thought we'd blow it and we nearly did.. weird feeling of being disappointed by the performance despite the win.

Need to follow it up with another win though.

I never want to watch Harry Souttar or Luke Thomas play football in a Leicester city shirt again. Absolutely revolting pair of footballers and both need bombing out.

Add McCarthy to that list. God knows how many of our fans will die of a heart attack at games watching his inept efforts to play out from the back. I think he's trying to give off the air of someone who is totally relaxed and in control but in reality he's constantly on the verge of giving away a goal with under hit and misplaced passes. Awful.

And his movement is so slow when attempting to get down to shots.

Also sick of Reid - just trotted around allowing their defenders eons of time to pick passes at will, which only helped them to maintain pressure on us.

But a win is a win so I'll try to enjoy it.

Did i say all 4? And it was on the edge of the box so around 20 yards.

All I was saying is that I watched the full match and after being 4-1 up, we should habe lost 7-4. Maybe the highlights you watched didnt show that, but for 40 minutes we were absoloutely battered.

Also pleased we won by the way. We're going to need the points if we dont learn to respond in games for such long periods.

I read your comment to mean that  - “ We scored goals through quality 20 yard strikes that you cant always account for”

The box is 18 yards.

Oh I accept we were lucky to get the win from what I’ve read on here. I managed to watch the last 20 minutes - they missed some great chances, but when RM changed the back line I thought we looked comfortable and would hold on.

Yes, I agree we need to respond much better - hopefully the new players will give us that.

It was on the edge of the box at an angle, so around 20 yards out. Strange to focus on that.

Thing is, attack wise not many would cope with us, defensively we’re a disgrace……. Tactically it’s a complete mess….. that was there for all to see today, we won because of Page and Riss, and a lack of quality from Stockport and a bit of luck.

No doubt there will be a bunch of goons, on socials spouting how great it was, but it really wasn’t…. It was basically Plymouth but they scored, defensively horrible…. But the biggest problem is the overall package, tactically we’re so poorly managed and coached we’ve got a manager saying all of the wrong things, a group that look disjointed and disinterested and are dangerously close to this going tits up when it can be prevented.

A good owner would have spotted the red flags weeks a hi, and would have sacked him, but unfortunately we don’t have one of those. He’s everything this board deserve, but we will be the brunt of the joke.

Winning away at Stockport is a very good result but you’d almost rather 2-1 or something.

Scoring 4 and the new guys scoring is great, especially 2 for Riis as we need a guy up top we can have confidence in to bag. But conceding 3 after last week and being 4-1 up just really highlights our weaknesses and does take the shine off what is a positive 3 points.

I think defence is easier to sort out than attack. If you've got a decent front line then they just sort themselves out (comparatively).
