Paddington was good.  I quite fancied the mum (she's not a bear).

Three of us, admittedly with slightly posher seats, and it was thirty quid.  Blimey.

I am talking about the film as opposed to a train journey, you understand

A most wanted man. Watched it because of the rave reviews on here on the dead main actor.

Pretty average film, got slower as it progressed.

5/10

Birdman - has this really been nominated for an oscar? 2/10

Couldn't agree more, I found A most wanted man dull and boring, as for Birdman I think its a marmite film, I thought it was awful.....but I love marmite.

I thought A Most Wanted Man was excellent.

I watched the Homesman last week which was excellent. Great photography and score, slightly uneven narrative but I've been told the book is the same.

Inherent Vice- PI drama set in 1970 hippy California. Entertaining if a bit hard to follow because a lot of the actors mumble their lines. 7/10

Finally got around to watch The Inbetweeners 2. I know some of you may think this film is rather chauvinistic but I really enjoyed it and it has loads of laugh out loud moments and there were moments of sheer disbelief as well.

Interstellar 9.0/10

Took me about 4.5hrs to finish it (it's 3hrs long but I tend to take breaks when watching movies to Google stuff like a proper short attention span generation y victim of information overload), and I'm sure (in fact I know from having googled it) that the science is a bit questionable and the plot is a bit Swiss cheddar so if you're the type that's a bit anal about those kind of things (not in a sexual way) then you will have plenty not to like, but I thought it was a great movie, best I've seen in quite a while.

Watched Whiplash last night. Pretty good - not quite what I was hoping but an easy 7-8/10.

It's a top film Interstellar - a mindfvck, but really good.
