Head Honcho Posted 21 February 2007 Share Posted 21 February 2007 I can't see MM signing anyone on big money before the start of next season unless he believe's we can push for a play-off place. It would be financially stupid to do so unless they were coming here on a two year plus deal.
He's not bald Posted 21 February 2007 Share Posted 21 February 2007 Kelly's got it wrong if he's looking for a winger IMO. Despite our central midfielders returning to fitness we still need a class CM. Two decent games doesnt mean Jono is class, Jarrett looks pants for me, Tiatto dreaming of Aus, Hughes not quite cutting edge enough. Imagine what kind of service a Muzzy-esque type character could offer Hume, Horse and Fryatt.... Where's Guppy?

Ric Flair Posted 21 February 2007 Share Posted 21 February 2007 Kelly has his sights set on Shaun Newton from West Ham, he wanted him before Mandaric came in. I just hope MM tells Kelly to bollocks if he asks him to bring Shaun in. Todorov Berger

Leonisco Posted 21 February 2007 Share Posted 21 February 2007 I'd love to see Patrik Berger here. Some of the goals he scored for Pompey the season before last were worth the entry fee alone!
lookwhaticando Posted 21 February 2007 Share Posted 21 February 2007 Where's Guppy? Playing in the Conference. For Stevenage I think... He's 37. Experience - just what Mandaric's looking for.

Ric Flair Posted 21 February 2007 Share Posted 21 February 2007 Andy van der Meyde. Yes please, but could you really see a recent Inter Milan player coming to The Walkers, irrespective of his shocking displays at Everton this season?.

Rob Kelly has admitted that he is actively trying to add to the strength in depth of the City squad. His attempts to bring in a player on loan with Premier League experience prior to Saturday's game against West Brom at the Walkers Stadium have been thwarted. http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~986254,00.html
