Not tried any Maf Bitch, the menu here is limited, for Belgium, I think a rochefort 9 and then off to bed.

Whereabouts you at?  If you haven't tried any of the 4 "Chouffe" beers (La -, Mc-, Houblon -, and N'Ice -), make a note of those names and get on it.  Houblon's my favourite.  Also keep an eye out for Duvel and its Triple Hop variation.  Scrumptious.

Currently working on a project in Ghent, I've had some Chouffe while I've been here, La and N'Ice, I'll look out for some Houblon.

 

I had some Duvel Triple Hop at the Historium in Bruges (that was a weird old place) it was a bit too hoppy for me.

 

I'm a big fan of Brugse Tripel, although if I'm feeling like treating myself I will hunt down some Kasteel Donker, now that is some seriously nice beer, a bit too strong to make a session of it.

Then you may well feel the same about Houblon given that it's named after the French for hops, but it's such a unique beer that it's worth trying at least once anyway.

I've managed to avoid seeking shelter so far.
