Sheehan Gone (Leeds, on Loan)

Shame really - I thought he'd made an impact at the start of the season.

If his contract didn't expire in the summer, I'd have thought this was a good move - get him first team football in a team going for promotion at a lower level, rather than playing the odd match (at best) in a team that (let's admit it) is still trying to avoid relegation.

But I honestly can't see him wanting to come back after this, and if a League 1 club can get him for free, then I'm sure they'll go for it. That's if he impresses. If he doesn't, IH won't want him back anyway. Either way, it all points to him leaving when his contract's up.

(His contract does end in the summer, right?!)

Oh dear - it will soon be all of Oliver's Army - Sheeehan must have heard the chorus:

Oliver's army is here to stay

Oliver's army are on their way

And I would rather be anywhere else

But here today

I think he may be a Wise young man !

Good luck - you deserve your chance - we will keep shinning in goals for scrappy 1 - 0.

Does this mean we can stop talking about him now.

We still talk about Gradel for one strange reason or another.

As a generalisation that simply wasn't true. He had strengths and weaknesses as a defender but so did Nils and so has Mattock though neither of those had Shush!'s attacking strengths at least from anything I've witnessed so far apart, perhaps, from Mattock's performance in the Youth Cup against Palace.

As a left back, surely his main priority, is to defend? Or is that just me?

An argument could be put to say that Nils was the best attacking left-back by virtue of his goal against PNE last season where he saved us from the third division.

It could be put, but not by me - I am far to pissed at this moment in time...but HEY! I still seem to be able to hit the right keys. :D
