AyewJoking Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Where were they last night? Injured or deemed not good enough? I suppose the fact we've signed two wingers to replace two wingers we'd already signed says it all really. Bit of a bástard if you're a twat like me and got Laczko printed on your shirt after just one game.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Simply put, give them time to climatise with English football...
Mark Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Both are starting for the Reserves tonight so neither injured.
hairy Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 They are suffering from the Leicester disease. A couple of decent games when they first arrive and they are forever sh*te after that. Must be the Balti pies.

BigGibbo Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 If given a chance im sure Laczko will come good & I haven't seen much of Bori yet!
Joe. Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Lackzo's just not good enough, pure and simple. Not seen enough of Bori in his natural position to make a proper judgement but from what I've seen I hold a slightly better opinion of him. But like I say, we need to see more of him. Don't think we'll be seeing either of them in a Leicester shirt next season if I'm honest.
norfolkfox222 Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 He will be starting for AC Milan against Arsenal in 10 years time just u see!!!
RowlattsFox Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Ollie said they are were only brought in as back-up anyway but we failed to get our top targets in January which meant they were played more than Ollie planned too.
Samilktray Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 He will be starting for AC Milan against Arsenal in 10 years time just u see!!! We'll be in Arsenals position 10 years from now. Watch.

maddog Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Bori has been our best winger this season. Hume can't play there, fact. Zsolt has been poor. I still think we should sign them permenantly though, Ollie did say they would be bargains and they are young.
Jimmy Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Both are starting for the Reserves tonight so neither injured. I think Bori has been injured as he wasn't even playing for the reserves the last couple of weeks
Staf Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 They are suffering from the Leicester disease. A couple of decent games when they first arrive and they are forever sh*te after that. Must be the Balti pies. Seems about right i dont think Zsolt looks to good at the minute but i thought Bori looks alright would like to see him given a chance.
Calum McDermott Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Both have potential, they are both young and have shown they have the capability its just a matter of time to settle in. They also need a run in a side. For example DJ has had his first real run in the side and he looks extremely sharp and is difficult ot mark for the opposition.
Sods Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Hope they enjoy playing tonight. Morecombe away on tuesday night. OOOOO Lovely.
filbertway Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 They need time like someone at the top said. I imagine the English game is a completely different style to what they're used to so they aren't going to be amazing from the off, they need time to bed in. Wenger says he usually gives his foreign players at least 6 months of bedding in time. (I think )

For example DJ has had his first real run in the side and he looks extremely sharp and is difficult ot mark for the opposition. i think the lack of confidence, lack of fluidity and general negativity in the club has rubbed off on laczko. Both are relatively young lads and to come to a club like Leicester and be thrust into the team with such high expectations from the fans ( not saying its wrong) has perhaps overwhelmed Laczko more so than Bori, it would appear. Going to a club like Plymouth you dont quite have such a huge expectation on your shoulders- for one thing you are going to a smaller team and secondly you are in a better position in the table so your fans are not climbing up the wall with every defeat... But at Leicester they probably havnt come accross such frustration and anguish in their life before in fans... Give Laczko especially a nice relaxed pre season with the lads and maybe a time when he isnt the new boy and i think you might see a weight off his shoulders... Thats if they both stick around, of course...
Simi Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 If these were English I bet a lot more people would be willing to give them more of a chance. I honestly beleive they have a lot more to offer for this club. Laczko has put in some decent performances for us, notably the one against Coventry. I can't see why people think he's completely lost that ability. I think Holloway has asked him to play a way he doesn't really know, or like. Against Cov he seemed to have a lot of freedom to run at people and try a few things. But since then he seems stumped and always putting the ball in early, that's not his game. His work rate isn't the best, but given time I still think he can be a good player for us. As for Bori, he's done ok. I think he's quite intelligent on the ball and he does get involved in a lot of good moves. Crossing maybe not the best, but there's certainly room for improvement. If Etuhu comes in and does well, consistently, fair enough. But it would not surprise me if he goes off the boil in a team that just looks like it's dying on it's arse.

Quite right. 2 of our better wins vs co and Norwich featured laczko who played well in each game. Personally I think he should have started last night or at least have been on the bench as we had no wide options whatsoever.

He only started to play well against Norwich after we were 2 goals up, bit of a confidence player methinks.
AmericanScott Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 If Zsolt stops watching Match of the Day to see what Ronaldo does than maybe he'd be a better player. I still admire his ability and i have faith he'll be a key player for next season (if Ollie decides to keep him). Bori is a decent player. I'd like to see him play more as he dosen't show off his fancy footwork but runs at the opponents. He also looks strong. My verdict: i say we keep them. Better than anything else we can get
