Not sure whether it's just me but there seems to be an increase in those ridiculously loud motorbikes on the the roads; they're a right nuisance driving past your house at ridiculous hours. If a car was that loud then it'd be illegal surely.

Agreed. Really loud exhausts do my head in nowadays.

It really should be in the MOT as a decibel test at a specific amount of revs. If it's over the threshold, the bike still passes the MOT but you then have 4 weeks to make it compliant and resubmit it for a follow up check. Failure to do so would result in a hefty fine every 4 weeks, or the bike being seized if not paid after 3 cycles of fines/checks.

Same with car exhausts.

Don’t disagree with the nuisance, but it takes about 15 minutes to fit/remove a muffler.

People who blindly accept what is published by the old media and then continue to spread it on social media.

Then spend their day saying social media os full of shit.

Not just social media but media in general. My mum is terrible for repeating what she has seen on TV or worse read in the paper as fact, especially when she adds her little spin on it.

The kick-off countdown at the World Cup matches.

I really hope a player has the balls to pull up short and fake the kick off so that it doesn't work.

Low effort, generative AI memes.

Yes, you told chatgpt to put Russell Martin in a funny outfit. You're hilarious.

So were the five hundred people that did it before you.

It's going to be the new fish puns isn't it? And yeah, someone's going to post one in response to this because that's peak humour too.

And I swear every time you make one of these the cost of replacing the RAM in my machine is going up a few pence.

Particularly when used for ridiculous and cheap attempts at political gotchas.

See far too many of them around these days.

It's like that A.I. photo of Brendan Rodgers as a Saudi sheikh I've seen a million times now.

Oh, wait...

I don't think I've been "rattled" in twenty odd years, to be quite honest.

Faux outrage is where I'm at my most comfortable, it's my happy place.

People who get to the till at a supermarket and put stuff to one side, as the decide, seemingly (I dunno, maybe they plan this all along) last minute that they don't need one particular item.

As much as anything, it's bizarre. Do they have a mental wheel of fortune in their head?

Also people who, on finding something they already have going cheaper in the reduced section, take the reduced item and replace it with the full price item, rather than return it. I've seen what look to be well stocked reduced sections that on closer examination only have 2 or 3 items that are actually reduced.

When you spend upwards of £6 on a pint in a nice pub and they serve it you with drink pissing down the sides.

I understand it on matchday or festivals etc, but when a place is quiet and staff just let it pour over it's so frustrating lol

https://www.nytimes.com/2026/06/23/us/politics/south-africa-refugees-welcome-bags.html

In the coming weeks, the United States plans to provide a welcome gift to white South Africans entering the United States as refugees.

They will get an Android tablet, an American flag and copies of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. They will also receive a packet of literature that provides a sanitized, Trump-approved view of American and South African history, one that criticizes racial equity and civil rights laws and promotes claims of discrimination against white people.

The welcome bags include a report commissioned by Mr. Trump during his first term that downplays the role of slavery in the country’s founding, and a children’s book accusing South Africa’s government of “favoring the Black population.”

Some "refugees" are clearly acceptable, then.

Yeah all those slaves had nothing to do with building the basis of the country's economy in the 1700s eh Donny?

And the whole 1948-1993 era in South Africa was what, exactly, Don? Good strong governance?

People that mither on about 20 mph speed limits. Just had a toddler run out in front of me from behind a parked car and I stopped with zero drama because it's a 20 mph limit (that I was well within) on the streets around where I live and that's why

I adhere to these religiously in London, due to the above and also they tend to be policed by cameras...only to be regularly passed either side on a 1200cc motorcycle by balaclava wearing tw@ts on de-restricted e-bikes and electric scooters doing well in excess of 30mph.

Yeah, we had what I think was probably a drunk driver undermining ours the other night

Indeed, and with so many players from all over the world, cultures and religions doing it, God must support lots of different teams.

I understand what you mean again not wishing to upset anyone. Wonder if doing another job and completing a difficult task feel the need to publicly display in a similar way
