The Strictly Final sob-athon. Cringe.

My girlfriend is a keen dancer, but says she can't stand the show.

It's just pure joy and emotion. No complaints here. Not enough shows like it on TV. No sniping, no backstabbing, no dragging people down. Just pure fun.

Yeh, I enjoy the dancing. Most weeks I've ended up fast forwarding through everything else on iPlayer.

I can appreciate some of the emotion. For those who haven't danced before, it's must be pretty intense to pick up a new skill like that and learn what they do, especially if they really end up enjoying it.

What's wrong with wanting to control ' the narrative' and getting their side across, plenty of people do it even on Foxestalk. Anyone would be sick of people purporting to speak for them. Anyone would get sick to death of the personal attacks in the press that the masses would believe as newspapers are like hypnosis for the masses that will believe anything if its printed in ink. The papers always want to control the narrative. Newspapers manipulate and control more people than Megan ever could. It wasn't Megan that caused Harry to be estranged from his brother and father but rather their reactions to his and Megan's relationship.

Spot on.
but wait a grown man has been brain washed by a woman hell bent on bringing down the oh so innocent royals.
Prince Andrew is walking around laughing his sweaty bollocks off right now

Evri. Formally known as Hermes.

The delivery that was supposed to arrive last Sunday is still showing on their tracking site as "Sorry, it's been delayed"

I've since had a refund and gone to physically buy what I ordered, from elsewhere.

I won't be using companies that use Evri to deliver any time soon. The retailers are partly to blame by trying to do it on the cheap.

They're shocking but sometimes I've had no choice.

I once had an item which they said was 'delivered' but I never did receive it. Even the attempted deliveries they said they left with a neighbour. Checked with the neighbours, nothing there. Got a ring doorbell so based on their tracking and giving a bit of leeway either side, there was nothing showing.

So they processed a refund but that was after a lot of chasing. Trying to contact them is a different battle altogether.

Anyway, they processed the refund then the item was delivered the next day anyway lol

Yep. My Mrs loves the show and even she resorts to watching it on record so she can flick through some of the filler.

It's just ridiculous that they've rebranded because they know how shite their reputation is, then they've reached new lows.

I'd ordered a city away shirt for my step daughter, I'd promised her one and I'm taking her to MK Dons for her first away game on Tuesday.

I've been in Leicester today and bought one.

I'd originally ordered from JD Sports as I had a slight discount in there.

Phoned them up on Friday and they refunded me immediately. Didn't even have a go at the woman on the phone, I'm sure she's heard enough of it.

Hermes/Evri are obviously dirt cheap and bitten off more than they can chew.

Never had a problem with any other couriers. I think DPD are outstanding. But these companies can also use Amazon to carry out their deliveries. I deliver a lot of stuff from John Lewis and recently, The White Company must have taken a contract out with us to fulfil their deliveries.

They've got a warehouse in Northampton and we also take back their returns. I love that route. I can drop 80 parcels there in one drop and clear half the van!

My Mrs is exactly the same.

She recorded it, started watching at 8.40, watched all the dances and fast forwarded to catch up live, perfectly to see the result.

She timed it that perfectly, we even missed the dramatic pause when they say "and the winner is......"

Yeah they used to be reliable but in the past 12-24 months even predating the name change they've gone downhill sharpish.

Mine's gone out today so has missed the final. I'm tempted to just to tell her who won and save her all that time stopping and starting anyway

No, re-watch it with her just to appreciate Helen Skelton again.

For that last performance, she looked incredible!

Depends if there's nothing else on TV!

Given the world cup final and then NFL redzone will be on shortly after, it'll have to be before 3pm!

I've never had a problem with Evri round my area (Burton). Everything comes next day, and the delivery bloke even chucks it over my back gate down the entry if I'm not in.

I've had to return stuff before and that's a piece of piss too. Take it to a local shop that prints the label off for you and within 48 hours they're processing the refund.

I guess I've just been lucky.

Jersey post are the best ever. Delivery at your door, always early, with a smile. I do recall your username as you work at Amazon. I’ve been hammering Amazon to kit out my place here, free delivery plus you get 20% off as there’s no vat charged here, I feel like the devil but it’s so cheap and easy

Had a major problem with sending stuff back via Evri. Twice the same thing happened. Returned it to my local shop they gave me the ticket with the reference number on. I went to track it as I hadn't received my refund. Kept saying my reference number was invalid, went to the shop they assured me it had been picked up. Tried Evri customer care, it's automated so kept asking for reference number which according to them was invalid, no option to speak to someone . So after going round in circles I gave up, emailed them , no reply. Items just seemed to have disappeared of the face of the earth. Fortunately the items were being returned to Amazon, who I find are great with customer care, so having explained to them what had happened did give me refunds. Needless to say I've not used the local shop since.

People getting played over Meghan/Harry/William/Kate/The Royals. It's a rich person's game that is simply not worth playing. Don't buy the shitrags, watch something else on TV, go for a walk or to the gym, run an errand, read a book, study, learn something useful, help an elderly neighbour, go to bed earlier, actually talk to your family. Choose life etc.

I was very happily doing a highly successful job of avoiding reading or watching anything about it. Until I came on here....

I think the major issue right now is in the warehouses and sorting areas.

A lot of people have shite drivers when they actually manage to get stuff out for delivery, but that's just luck of the draw and sound like you have a good one.

I saw something about their pay structure last week too. Paid in pence per delivery, depending on size of parcel.

That's outrageous.

We arrived home to a Evri 'Sorry you were out' card in our letterbox.

To his credit, the guy had put his mobile No on it. We called him and he asked when we would be in and would drop it off. :)
