Kilo Kish and The Internet @ Bodega Social

You can follow my musical blog for a brief summary etc

Going to see Midge Ure play an acoustic set at the Minack Theatre. I've always liked Ultravox and I happened to notice he was playing there at the same time I will be on holiday in Cornwall.

Do you think you'll be dancing around, or will you be "all stood still"?

Bastille next Tuesday.

Who is this guy? He's come out of relative obscurity and now all I see on my Twitter and Facebook timelines is Bastille.

Skunk Ananise on Sunday in Bristol for me then Seasick Steve early May in Manchester

I saw him in Southampton a couple of years ago, he's fantastic. At one point he climbed into the audience and stood right next to me (he's actually pretty tall).

Mike Watt and his latest group Il Sogno Del Marinaio were quality a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't a huge fan of the support though.

Still there's Pere Ubu, Danzig and Bongripper coming up over the next couple of months. Things are going to get a bit noisey. :D

Ben Howard last night with Willy Mason as support. Quality gig wasn't a massive venue but was a sell out of at a guess 400 people. BH played for close to 2 hours and just seemed to love being up there and playing which was surprising, considering he cancelled his show the night before because of illness and throat infection. Really enjoyed no drunken bogans there just music lovers.
