Are they still going?  Blimey.

Reformed last year to release a sort of OK third album - it's the tenth anniversary of the first one this year.

 

For some reason I bought two tickets - it's not a given that anyone I know will actually want to go.  My OH may actually be quite cross if I invite her

Couldn't get arctic monkeys tickets for Sheffield after 1 and a half hours of applying on ticketmaster!! Anyone else have the same disappointment?

 

Although I'm going Manchester, not Sheffield, I brought my tickets direct from Manchester Arena's website, instead of any third party website like ticketmaster or gigs&tours. Got them in 5 minutes.

 

I'm a member on the Arctic Monkeys forum and everyone was expecting Sheffield to sell out instantly, and it did. People were waiting outside the arena for tickets, some had been there 23 hours! I would have thought they'd have played another Sheffield gig though, considering they've added a London one.

Ticketmaster is the worst ticketing site ever that horrible pass code system they have is horrendous.

Turns out Frank Turner will be playing in LA while I'm out there so I'll be heading to see that for sure :D

Went to the Barbican last night to see Mogwai perform the soundtrack to zidane a 21st century portrait live to the film.  stunning performance
