She is tidy though to be fair.

Seemed even when they were interviewed after the race as soon as it came to him being questioned the other team mates soon cleared off. I think he's like Andy Murray - Marmite to a lot of people despite being one of the best in the world at what he does. 10 minutes ago, Webbo said: The medal table is looking good now, 3rd, 8 golds. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/rio-2016/medals/countries It's pretty impressive so far. Still got some cycling and athletics chances too, as well as the tennis. If GB can get 4th or even 5th by the end of it all it will have been a pretty successful Olympics.
StanSP Posted 13 August 2016 Author Posted 13 August 2016 Another GB cycling gold. Women's team in the keirin smash the world record in doing so. Del Potro and Nadal just played out a brilliant tennis match. Del Potro making the final.
Jimothy Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Gold and Silver in the men's sprint cycling with the final between Jason Kenney and Callum Skinner.
Jimothy Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Bronze for Rutherford in the long jump. Shame he couldn't defend his title, but it was a great final, and despite being off form he produced way above his form in the final.
leicsmac Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Team GB cycling are essentially the Borg. Ruthless winners. And anyone who has the temerity to call Mo Farah 'not British' after that race and that interview (and there are still some that do) can get fvcked.
Jimothy Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Ennis-Hill just misses out on gold in the Heptathlon.
leicsmac Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Damn shame for Jess, but if a competitor does 5 PB's in 7 events then you're going to be up against it. So nearly managed to pull it out the bag in the 800m, too.

I hope she can work with KJT now, and try and help her improve her consistency, as there's clearly some talent there.

Could be seeing a serious KJT/Thiam rivalry develop over the next few years.
EastAnglianFox Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 The problem with KJT is even if somebody was to help improve her strength and consistency in events, she seems so mentally weak that just a slightly below par javelin / long jump would still send her into complete melt down.

Webbo Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 With Russia not having any athletes it looks like we might stay in 3rd place in the MT, might even overtake China in the table.
Nalis Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Golf coming to a grandstand finish between Rose and Stenson, both level at the top with 2 to play.
Jimothy Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Wow great shot from Rose. May just have won him the gold.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Seems like we are having another great day

Webbo Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 I'm not sure but does that put us second on the medals table? I can remember 1 year when Steve Redgrave won our only gold.
Nalis Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 Louis Smith is one sulky little shit. Well done Max Whitlock.
