foxes_rule1978 Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 The medals are flowing in now... great day for Team GB and going well in the Rugby too
GaelicFox Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 Them two English lads on the big diving board should be thanked for one thing .... Never have to see or listen to fecking Tom Daley again !
Jimothy Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 In terms of medals we're now ahead of what we had at the same point in London. And I think we had some rowing medals in London at this point, but it's been delayed this time.

We wont top London, if we do that's outstanding, I don't think the teams as big, strong, and we aren't on home soil. I think their being very realistic with the beat Beijing target, which I think we should actually do easily but I dunno what other targets you can set other than beat your best performance on foreign soil in recent memory (possibly ever I dunno).

Manwell Pablo Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Oh yeah, well I refer you to the top of the last page. He wont be back hopefully.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Good start in the Velodrome, Olympic Record brilliant
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Anyone see Murray earlier konta in trouble already
Merging Cultures Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 haha... I just watched the medal ceremony for the gymnastics, and couldn't stop laughing at how the Brazilian military (or perhaps police) march. There arms swing in front and out to the side, instead of just straight at their side, and they have a weird stomp with their right foot. Who watched them do that and thought, "yeah, that is well smart, it will strike fear in to our enemies"?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Unbelievable how we turn it on at the olympics ...

But it's about time South America hosted a Games. I did think the amount of problems we'd had both pre and during these games were down to something (@mattp)
foxes_rule1978 Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Take the silver, Fiji are world number one at the sevens, we only just patched a team together... so an incredible achievement still

Webbo Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Well the rugby sevens wasn't embarrassing. We'd lost by the kick off.
foxy boxing Posted 12 August 2016 Posted 12 August 2016 great ride by the cycling sprint trio at the velodrome for the gold
