Some posters from Bulgarian local elections taking place this week (sorry for size). Now this is politics.

I don't know what she stands for but I'm voting for her.

Colour should give you a clue.

Too late though, you already said you're voting for her.

If Jeremy Corbyn had that hairstyle I'd consider voting for him.

Care to translate this one? It looks interesting and disturbing in equal measures.

It's for Pomorie, a small municipality not far from Burgas. I guess the octopus represents corruption and the candidate is obviously 'slaying' it.

Top left says 'vote (second person plural imperative) for Stoyan Tonchev'. Top right 'Pomorie deserves more'.

Tag line bottom right is 'It's not possible not to be possible', if that makes any sense.

Right, I thought it might be their version of UKIP with the euros in the octopus' tentacle - slaying the euroctopus or something equally daft, obviously ripped from Sci-fy's late night movie marathon.

To be honest that sounds plausible. "Slaying the Euroctopus" - love it. If somebody hasn't used that already I'm nicking it for my campaign run next year.

That's a great analogy for the UK where the mouse is a low-income family seeking the corn of fair pay from the depths of the maze of Tory fiscal policy.

That's weird because all I can see is a man pulling his arse wide open...
