Albums you haven't listened to for ages but then when you do listen to them you wonder why you didn't listen to them for ages

Saw them supporting Stereophonics in 2005. Quite enjoyed them but never heard of them again after.

Yeah, they split up after their second album. Saw them at Leeds Festival when they were touring that in 2007 and was disappointed. Don't think the main stage was really the place for them.

A few into anything touching Midwest emo  on here I think will enjoy this badboy, last 4 mins or so of this are sensational and the album is simply very lovely and a go-to on walks and that

I really liked this when it came out, and I'll love the Housemartins forever and consider Paul Heaton one of the world's top blokes but nothing from the Beautiful South ever really did anything for me after this, for some reason

Bought tickets to see Heaton three times now. Between Covid and strikes I've yet to see him.

Given how gigs have shot up 50-100% in price, doesn't look like I ever will.

This is really quite wonderful, maligned when released, but it has some lovely versions of McCartney classics, along with a couple of decent new ones.

On a train - which is one of the few times I listen to music and it not just sort of wash over me as I work and not notice it.

Went for John Prine - Fair And Square. Absolutely brilliant.

Leonard Cohen - Death of a Ladies Man now.
