StanSP Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 I think I missed that, I don't really know anything about that numerology stuff but I reckon I would have remembered them talking about it. Were they on the live news that night when they got them out? That was a good night and quite exciting watching it live Yeah think it may have been us 2 talking about it on here anyway Basically, 33 miners. The first message they sent up saying they were safe contained 33 characters. The date they were rescued was 13/10/10. 13 + 10 + 10 = 33. Since they first used the drill to the time they found the miners it was 33 days. And lastly, that message they got when they found out the miners were safe was in the 33rd week of the year. Make of it what you will. I don't think it means anything and is just coincidence. Anyway, sorry for going off-topic!
The Doctor Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 sounds like the miners were all undercover free masons.
l444ry Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 "The Royal Family will pay for the wedding and the taxpayer will foot the bill for the security" Excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference exactly? Before a penny of taxpayers' money is spent on this circus could we not at least pursue the debt of around £6 Million left by the late Queen Mother. That went awfully quiet didn't it?
ramboacdc Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 i can bet any money the bookies stay open. every "national holiday" we are open.
AoWW Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 Our Lord Mayor to represent FT at the wedding? Dear God, no.... can you imagine the shame he'd bring to the forum when, mid ceremony, he drops his trousers again?
Guest Mee-9 Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 Dear God, no.... can you imagine the shame he'd bring to the forum when, mid ceremony, he drops his trousers again? He'd do it for entertainment, he could go under the stage name 'The dirty jester.'
Fox You Forest Posted 23 November 2010 Posted 23 November 2010 Dear God, no.... can you imagine the shame he'd bring to the forum when, mid ceremony, he drops his trousers again? If it goes tits up or his trousers fall down again we can always say FT is the Foxes Trust.
Wycombe Fox Posted 24 November 2010 Posted 24 November 2010 Couldn't give a toss about the whole Royal Wedding thing - bores me to tears.
Webbo Posted 28 April 2011 Author Posted 28 April 2011 Working tomorrow now. Couldn't watch it if I wanted to.
stripeyfox Posted 28 April 2011 Posted 28 April 2011 I'm looking forward to it. It's one of the things we do well. Few beers and a street party in the afternoon. Lovely. Good luck to them!
Jackirius Posted 28 April 2011 Posted 28 April 2011 Don't know if it has been posted before, but this made me chuckle. I wont be watching it tomorrow as i have to work all weekend
Guest Mee-9 Posted 28 April 2011 Posted 28 April 2011 Been invited to a street party. Going to see some bird instead. Head screwed on.
MikeyT Posted 28 April 2011 Posted 28 April 2011 See in the bottom right of where I've posted this it says "reply", next to "multiquote". Click "reply" If anyone knows of any street parties happening tomorrow, please give me a shout as i may go and take some snaps. Cheers. EDIT. I have no idea why i replied to your post.
stripeyfox Posted 28 April 2011 Posted 28 April 2011 Been invited to a street party. Going to see some bird instead. Head screwed on. Depending on how fit/dirty she is, that probably qualifies as a "better offer"
Wymsey Posted 28 April 2011 Posted 28 April 2011 Only be watching it for 3 minutes on the 10pm news. Barbecue and go karting planned.
BoneDog Posted 28 April 2011 Posted 28 April 2011 Hope everybody has stocked up on Pimms for the parties. I'm wearing sky blue plimsoles, cream chinos, short sleeved shirt and lemon cravat at our street BBQ.
Fosse Boy Posted 28 April 2011 Posted 28 April 2011 Shall probably be blasting down the A14 during the ceremony. Not that I'm particularly anti-monarchist, I'm just not that bothered.
Jackirius Posted 28 April 2011 Posted 28 April 2011 lol Did anyone watch the one show just then? That ginger guy in the black tshirt that was filming the camera like he was taking a facebook photo, then turns it to himself and just gives it a 'Hello!'. Not very funny probably, but i was in stitches.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 28 April 2011 Posted 28 April 2011 London will be packed, so I will settle for the telly. Pro Monarchy, and proud of it. :appl:
