With this its completely down to how you want to get married abroad. The most straight forward option is using company like TUI for example and booking a 'package' somewhere you fancy.

Once you start looking into the less straight forward places/countries/options it depends on there rules and regulation on how it works. 

But more often than not they will want to speak to you as 'every wedding is different, you're special day' etc etc.

We really struggled to find smaller places on the county. Remember seeing Mythe Barn and them demanding at least 120 people attend at £80 a head plus 10k venue hire. Ended up at a venue in Wiltshire as it seated 34 which was our limit and kept it to a “mere” 8k. 
 

Completely not the answer to you question, just Leicestershire is crap for smaller and cheaper weddings I found.

My brother in law got married here - ~35 guests - on a farm in the Crete Countryside - don't think it was mega expensive and all the food served on the day was from the farm, was brilliant.

Congratulations. Of all the local places we looked at for our reception, the most competitively priced option was our stadium, in the restaurant. We needed a minimum of 50 or 60, but we could do our own table wine. And, the wedding party got a mini tour and to go pitch side. It was a while ago, though.

There are deals where you get cashback for switching but ive had my current account for about 20 years

I've not done it for a few years but the last time I did it, it was pretty easy - as easy as they'd always said it was (but it wasn't, at all), so I'd guess it would be very straightforward now

Apparently they do everything for you. Every standing order and direct debit.

 

It has to be easy or people wouldn't bother switching.

Yeah i keep reading its easy and they do everything but i just expect some DD's to bounce and you end up with a fee for the non payment(Like LCFC ST's!!!)

Same NatWest account since I was born in 1982....

Switching is very easy nowadays. You sign up for the new current account, then once it's open you request the switch and a separate service which switches the accounts over and transfers all your standing orders and DDs, plus closes your old account for you. I did it a couple of years ago and it all went smoothly. 

 

Always check the T&Cs for how much you need to deposit in what time frame and other such nonsense. 

 

MoneySuperMarket has a good list of switches and the terms involved.

Is there a limit as to how many times you can switch? Or does it just overly complicate matters doing it so regularly?

You can do it as much as you like but most T&Cs say that you can't have had an account with them or their banking partners for a certain period of time. 

 

It also affects your credit rating every time you do it as well. For those people who might be applying for a mortgage within the following 12 months or so.

There is a website that claims you can have £2600 per year by switching in the right order.

 

Just once for an easy win I think is more sensible.

Fvck me it's unbearable and now my whole arm and wrist hurts too. I can hardly lift a cup of tea.

 

Tried supports, ice, deep heat, antii inflamatories, rest, strengthening exercises, everything, but I can't shift it.

 

It's been over a year and really pissing me off now.

Had golfers elbow which is a similar type of tendonitis. Physio ended up making the difference but it took bloody ages to resolve.

I've just had my first physio session (£72!!!) which was much needed and overdue.

 

Got some Ibruprofen gel and exercises to do but the pisser is no golf for at least 3 weeks

I went through physio for a while with the NHS, helped but never got rid of it. Ended up having steroid injections which would clear it up for a while but would always end up coming back. Gave up in the end and just live with it.

A tennis partner of mine was diagnosed with tennis elbow last year. His doctor said he had seen many folk with the condition down the years but he was the first he'd seen who actually played tennis .

Get the physio started asap. Watch YouTube for the exercises.
