They were scheduled to play the stadium this year, but bought it forward because we won the league. Suppose there could be a chance they kept that booking...

Their output has trailed off but their first album is a 10/10 in my book, sometimes I forget how good it is. Barely any daft lyrics and Tom doing what he does best rather than over-stretching his range like nowadays. There's not a bad track on the album and Processed Beats is my Kasabian favourite track out of the lot

Agree with this to be honest. Since then half of Velociraptor was top drawer and 48:13 had positives but its extremely hit or miss, which is a shame cos when they're on form they're quality.

They fell into the trap of having to write songs for stadiums, or to at least live up to past hype, which is a bad recipe.

 

Serge's solo album is decent, mainly because he's writing songs that he wants to do without the pressure from a record label.
