Ric Flair Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Rensing was without a club though. There's no way Almunia would be on trial at Leicester. If he was available, we'd sign him straight up. It'll be some no mark.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Was good in 07/08 and 08/09, but really lost his confidence and couldnt deal with the pressure over the last few years. Not very commanding, but is a very good shot stopper. But I doubt it is him, as he's being let go as he wants to return to Spain apparently
lcfcsnow Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Osasuna Keeper? 39 year old... No he started for Osasuna on Sunday. It'll be this guy, he's Portuguese though but a free agent and his last club was in Spain http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricardo_Pereira

Ric Flair Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Would be fairly decent. Would be very decent. Sven will know him very well from a couple of hideous penalty shoot-outs. God, Sven is like an elephant, he just never forgets does he? First Vassell, then Bamba, then Norales and Ricardo as players from opponents who stuck the knife in. What a LAD

What a LAD I've seen Andy Gray and Richad Keys been described as 'LADs'. Do NOT put Sven in the same category! GOD
hackneyfox Posted 26 January 2011 Author Posted 26 January 2011 This would line up with what bnet had to say 'My mate thinks it summot like Peala, i've googled it but **** all.'
Ric Flair Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 He's not played a game for about 2 years by the looks of things, surprising for a goalie of his calibre. At 34 he's not exactly over the hill as far as goalies go.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 26 January 2011 Posted 26 January 2011 Ive heard its Raul "dont let the ball in the" Netta apparently
Callabinho Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 My link - Daily Mail link He is actually a class keeper, Erratic but class
escos Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 It's also on the daily mail site although I'm on my phone and too stupid to post a link!!
Ric Flair Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 Get Vitor fit and we could have a very strong back line with Ricardo if he comes in.
Edmund Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 What a dappa. Saves penalties with no gloves on.
Simmo86 Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 What a dappa. Saves penalties with no gloves on. And scores them to send Portugal through!!
zubi Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 What a dappa. Saves penalties with no gloves on. Thats Vassells penalty he saved right, 7 years on will vassell see this as an opportunity to final get some sort of revenge
Wymsey Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 LCFC World Former Portugal goalkeeper Ricardo is training with Leicester City at the moment on a trial basis says Stringer
sdb Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 Didn't he play for Utd? Who am I thinking of? 'Cause the Portugese keeper they had was a calamity in the English game. Gave away pens every 10 mins iirc.
Guest Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 Real Betis last club I think must be knocking on 40
Jimbo Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 Portugese keeper Ricardo is in training with us with a view of signing on He's the guy who saved the peno's to knock out England in both euro 2004 and the world cup 2006 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1351305/Ricardo--Portugal-keeper-twice-broke-English-hearts--join-Svens-Leicester-revolution.html?ito=feeds-newsxml Plus a lad I work with, his dad does a lot of the running round for the club, he's bascially Sven's chauffeur. He picked him up yesterday from the airport. He's fetching Sven today, he's been back in Sweden, so if the report in the Daily Mail is true then I guess a deal will be signed when Sven gets back into work
Bugg Posted 28 January 2011 Posted 28 January 2011 Real Betis last club I think must be knocking on 40 He's 34
