Guest Bilo Posted 7 August 2012 Posted 7 August 2012 Good shout. They've literally nicked the YA RLY owl from 4chan.

21st Century Fox Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 All hail THE worst badge in football..... Carolina Dynamo... remind you of anything?
Asha Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 Crest of Zawisza Bydgoszcz in the Polish Ekstraklasa. Pretty lazy effort, that.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 All hail THE worst badge in football..... Carolina Dynamo... remind you of anything? According to Wikipedia: "The team, which was named Greensboro Dynamo until 1996, is owned by Neil Macpherson, a passionate follower and shareholder of English club Nottingham Forest, as can be seen from the similarities between the two clubs’ badges."

SystonFox Posted 13 December 2013 Posted 13 December 2013 That American forest one wins it for me, ****ing terrible. And it also makes that Neil McPherson the biggest bell in the history of the human race right now
Charnwood Norris Posted 16 December 2013 Posted 16 December 2013 Shocking. Looks like they were made in Microsoft paint 95 by a 10-year-old in 10 minutes.
Dan Posted 16 December 2013 Posted 16 December 2013 That American forest one wins it for me, ****ing terrible. It's an absolutely hideous combination.
Harry - LCFC Posted 17 December 2013 Posted 17 December 2013 It is literally just letters and numbers, no artistry whatsoever. That said it's kind of iconic somehow. Kind of neutral on it I think.

It's a badge for a football side, it's not going be exhibited in the Louvre for crying out loud. It's everything a well designed football badge should be when you see some of the over-designed monstrosities in this thread, not forgetting it's very easy to get minimalism completely and utterly wrong.

Pfft just because it's not supposed to be some masterpiece in a gallery doesn't permit you to take it to the other extreme end of the spectrum - there is a middle ground you know. I'd have thought it was fairly obvious I was suggesting the badge should be in there somewhere. Badges should have some symbolism about them. It's just writing on a page if it doesn't have that.

Surely the BvB is what's symbolic though?
