Wymsey Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 so anyway, is this on TV? No (In the most patient voice as possible )
The Doctor Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 No (In the most patient voice as possible ) - you can't even quote images/emoticons properly.
Haydos Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 - you can't even quote images/emoticons properly. I'm not even sure how he managed that
Captain... Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 Didn't want to start a new thread for this, so I thought it would go well in here. Tonights results all went our way, Cardiff, Burnley, Reading and Watford, all drew and therefore dropped points. Scun thorpe to beat Forest tomorrow and a win against Bristol on Friday will give us these gems to watch on Saturday: Crystal Palace v Sheff Utd, 15:00 Ipswich v Hull, 15:00 Leeds v Norwich, 15:00 Millwall v Middlesbrough, 15:00 Nott'm Forest v Cardiff, 15:00 Portsmouth v Barnsley, 15:00 Preston v QPR, 15:00 Reading v Watford, 15:00 S****horpe v Derby, 15:00 Swansea v Doncaster, 15:00 4 of our play off rivals are playing each other as are 2 of the chasing pack. Points will be dropped guaranteed, we need to make sure we beat Bristol and then watch the others take points off each other.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 I think Norwich are the team that'll fall out of the play-off places. Them, or Swansea. Unfortunately, I think it'll be QPR and Forest automatically, us, Cardiff, Leeds, and probably Swansea in the lottery of the play-offs.

I have a hunch that Preston are going to beat QPR as well as the exciting games with the teams above us. My gut is telling me it's going to be a comfortable victory. 3-0 with Gallacher, Yakubu and Oakley getting the goals.
cc_star Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 Got a feeling they're going to be up for it. We need a win with the games we've got coming up. On paper looks a formality but thats usually when football surprises you. I'm going for 2-1 to us. Ricardo (if Sven does favour him, he really needs to play him ahead of QPR, Cardiff etc) Naughton - Bamba - Mee - PVA Oakley - Wellens - King (another weeks rest will aid Abe not harm him) Gally - Yakubu - Vassell (Playing PVA means Dyer is a better bet as a sub, and I think Gally is 'in' games more when he's on the right-side although I expect Sven to move him again to the left)

Scun thorpe to beat Forest tomorrow and a win against Bristol on Friday will give us these gems to watch on Saturday: Great results as we are firmly in seventh position now. Both Watford and Burnley could have crawled above us with their games in hand... Hopefully we are only 2 poinths behind play-offs after this round. I rather have a draw between Leeds-Norwich.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 I think Friday is a bit of a potential banana skin job for us, i hate this pessemistic streak in me (but if you ever met my ex-wife you would understand why im pessemistic ) but does anyone else get this shock on the cards thought?

Watching the other results on saturday will be torture if we do lose !
Tommy G Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 Will be closer than people think but I think we will play even better than at Derby and win 3 nil. Sven will have 1 eye on cardiff as that game is massive - he may rest wellens or king 2nd half. Cardiff have forest away so they will either draw or losem if they draw and we beat them at their place then we will only be a few points behind them. Results went superb for us last night
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 16 February 2011 Posted 16 February 2011 Wouldn't be in a rush to change the side from Derby. I know they we're sh*te but we looked so dominant. Confidence must be sky high. Really, really, really need to win this one. I like that 10 wins from 15 games being enough idea - but those 15 games include QPR, Forest, Cardiff all away and Swansea, Norwich at home. Plus sides around us. I still don't think we're favourites to make the Play-Offs yet (sorry for the pessimism!) Also, why is it this game needed to be moved? Isn't Tigers a 5pm kick off? Surely us and Tigers can't stretch Police resources that much.

We will be in the playoffs......minimum

Surely us and Tigers can't stretch Police resources that much. The way to look at it is, if we can't beat the likes of Cardiff, Norwich, QPR and Forest we won't get in the play offs and neither do we deserve to. Even if we lost those games and got to the playoffs we would probably have to play, Cardiff, Norwich, Forest or QPR at some point. So don't fear these games, embrace them, these are the ones that will take points of our rivals and help us get in to the playoffs. They will be the barometer by which we measure our progress. We don't have to win all these games but we can't afford to let any of these teams walk all over us we need to be able to compete and even if we lose we need to make sure they know and we know that if we meet in the play offs they will be in for one hell of a game. Personally I am very excited by these games against our rivals, but first thing is first and that is beating Bristol City at fortress Walkers
