VinceNoir Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 I know it's early, but i started this thread because I'm attending my first City match since Fulham in 2004! Can't wait! For me, this is a must win.. Home game, plus it will add even more pressure to the teams around us on Saturday if we win. With plenty of those teams playing each other (Cardiff - Forest, Leeds - Norwich) a win for us is vital to keep the pressure up and close the gap Expecting a convincing home win!
Jakemoore Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 Very early but valid reason. I think will win purely cause we're at home. LCFC

That is a big gap between games. Are you Danish Vince or an ex pat ?

VinceNoir Posted 13 February 2011 Author Posted 13 February 2011 That is a big gap between games. Are you Danish Vince or an ex pat ? I'm English, moved to Denmark with my family in 97... And because I'm young, and haven't got a lot of money, I haven't been able to find the money and appropriate time to come over, until now. Can't wait!
Dylan Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 A must-win again, can't afford to slack in these home games, and feeling very confident of 3 points with our home form and their shit form, but you never know with Leicester. Regarding the starting eleven, I wouldn't mind seeing Weale back, but whoever he picks needs to be given a consistent run. Back four should stay the same. Midfield 3 should stay the same, as long as there's no fatigue- I'm a fan of Abe, and not a massive fan of Oakley, but he didn't do anything wrong really so would understand him keeping his place- wouldn't complain at seeing Abe though. I'd expect to see the front 3 the same. Yak and Gally should definitely start; only possible change would be Dyer for Vassell- but Sven will probably start Vassell. Hopefully another 3 points, and another thrashing if we're lucky- get our GD up to scratch too! Prediction: Leicester City 3-1 Bristol City (King, Gally 2)
Wymsey Posted 13 February 2011 Posted 13 February 2011 Is it on telly? No, the Tigers playing on Saturday so the fixtures moved.
shailen Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 Tough tough game even with us in form. Do not expect a cricket score. Ill go 2-1 to us however with us hanging on last 20 minutes to a one.goal lead.

Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 i think a comfortable 3-1 home win. cant underestimate bristol though they have been underachieving with the squad they've got david james, nicky hunt, liam fontaine, marvin elliott, martyn woolford, ivan sproue, andy keough and nicky maynard all decent players at this level
bluebeau Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 IMO it's another 4 - 0 to City, if Weale is in goal, if Ricardo is in goal, sorry but on his performance against the sheep shaggers, I am not so confident so 4 - 2.
Simmo86 Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 I think we'll win 3-0 but only if Weales in goal. If Ricardo's in goal we could lose 15/16-0 because after seeing him punch the ball twice on Saturday i'm writing him off as a complete and utter shitbag, just like I did with Yuki Abe, Ben Mee and PVA. harpendenfox Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 hopeful of another home win, but we may still reach the play offs and lose some games we ought on paper to win. With 15 games left another 10 wins would give us 78 points - 3 above my initial target of 75 which has been enough to secure a play off place in all recent seasons. Almost certainly one or two of the current top six will splutter. And I hate to say it, but junior Leicester, ie Hull, are as much in form as us. Blue Army

Blue Army Yep i agree with that. 30 points from 15 games is enough to finish 6th, but with harder games coming we need to be winning these games, plus its at home. All home games need to be wins:P
Corky Posted 14 February 2011 Posted 14 February 2011 We're playing with plenty of confidence at home, going forward we look like we could score at will, but both Millwall and Barnsley have had periods of pressure on us, so we have to be on our guard. Still confident of a win.

Prediction: Leicester City 3-1 Bristol City (King, Gally 2) Pretty much this bar the prediction, I can't see Bamba and Mee letting many get past 'em between now and the end of the season so I'm saying clean sheet. Attacking wise, 3 goals, Yak, King, Gallagher (potentially in that order too).
