Any chance of getting Naughton?

Doubt it, Spurs rate him quite highly!

Yeah, lame. He's looked a little suspect defensively for Villa the last few games, wonder if Redknapp would want him to do 1 more loan in the prem. Fingers crossed that's the case and QPR get him. That's proper clutching at straws right there.

Naughton is a superb RB and we cant aford to lose him to a shitty club like QPR

if we need to we need a protest as im not having robbie neilson in RB next year and we have struggled for a decent RB in recent years and now we have 1 were gonna let him go, sign him up sven

Well, whatever we may think, QPR will be in the First Division next year, and we will be in the Second.

A player at his age is not going to turn down the chance to play at the top level, however much he claims to have enjoyed his time here. Plus he'd be able to stay in London. And I wouldn't have any sour feeling with him at all.

To be honest, the pecking order is Spurs, then any PL club if they want him, then us.

I'd be very surprised if we got him, he's too good for Championship football if there are Prem clubs sniffing around. Would make him our top priority though if we can.

I reckon if he's thinking long term he might reject QPR for us. Admittedly he'd be turning down PL football, but in 3/4 years I reckon the safe bet would be that we are ahead of QPR in terms of average league position.

But no player is bigger than LCFC and if he'd rather go than stay, Cheers Kyle.

How will he know he's getting first team football in the Prem anyway? At least here he knows he's got the starting spot and he clearly enjoys it here under a manager who gives him a free role down that right side. Maybe he'll think to himself that it'd be silly to throw that away and he did it once already when he left Sheffield United.

Apparently the deal is basically completed that Kyle will be joining QPR next year, I know someone very close to the club and he says most of the staff including Sven know he will be leaving/returning.

I don't know if its a permanent deal or a loan but if you see Tottenham and QPR they often sell or loan players to QPR like Taarabt first loan then permanent,Kyle Walker loan and more but I really couldn't be arsed to research so yeah hopefully this is not true but I really can see it happening

If it's like our relationship with Man City, then they should give us Tevez :)

I'd forgotten about Walker actually, they might prefer him over Naughton anyway if they can get him for a realistic fee. Got a feeling QPR will do OK in the Premiership next season anyway, Mittal has promised investment if and when they do finally secure it.

He's the sixth richest man in the world, it's loose change to him.

If you think of the logistics for Kyle, he'd be able i'd persume to live at his London home with playing for QPR, which might be a reason for him signing for them?

Or he is maybe keen to move further back North so he is closer to his native Sheffield? Only people that know Kyle will know what he is thinking.

All depends how much he has fallen in love with the club...

If we are just stepping stone in his career then fair enough. He has given us a great season, played his heart out and good luck to him for the rest of what will be an exciting career...

If he loves the Club Waghorn style then we might stand a chance.... although i think this is unlikely.

It also depends on what sort of a season he expects to have if he went to QPR.. will they invest heavily in new players? will they drop quicker than a cheap prozzie at the sight of a tenner?

who knows.... he'll probably go though

It doesn't really matter because we've got Neilson coming back off loan from Brentford. Would be nice to sign him, highly unlikely now though

Hope we get him but i carnt see it why play championship when hes easy good enough for alot of prem teams. I dont think he will get in spurs team anytime soon though probably end up at a midtable team.

I hope that was a joke

we can afford it.

I know we have the funds, but it states in that Sun report that QPR are offering £2million?? I thought if that was the price tag we would have snapped him up in January?

I agree :D

i thought spurs wanted £8million for Naughton?

pay it, if only to Akinbiyi off the record books as our most expensive signing, he'd score more goals too

Hang on, If we offer Spurs more money than QPR do, it's still Naughton's call?

if spurs accept both offers yes
