BCFC Fan94 Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 No worries, ive heard a few rumours about some of your support being quite racist? Whats your thoughts on that? Surely no place in society let alone football regarding racism? Of course I find racism intolerable. I can't deny that again a very small amount of city fans aimed abuse towards Leicester rightfully deemed as racist, but again I mean a very small amount and the rest of us of course find it totally unacceptable. I know from an outsiders point of view you'll see the abuse and think that most City fans are the same but I really can't stress enough that's not the case and I apologise on behalf of most city fans for what that small amount said.
Joe. Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 yeah they need to be told stuff like that. complete pointless tweets. but then again that's twitter. How can you possibly tell it's a pointless tweet?

Bert Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 Some are but you get that at most clubs, Personally I don't leicester too much I remember going to watch us lose 1-0 in the FA Cup 4th round about 11 years ago I was sat in the home end behind the goal at the Walkers, It was snowing and I never took a jacket with me and popped in your club shop I think it was the filbert street side of the new ground, Still got that Leicester coat at home but its shit as it never had a zip only buttons I'm pretty sure it was 2-0

Alexikokopops Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 There are over 100 people reading 82 pages of conjecture and bullshit. Welcome to the internet.
John Matrix Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 How can you possibly tell it's a pointless tweet? because it doesn't tell us anything ergo it's pointless. i do wonder about some people on here haha
Marmite Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 I think Nicky has perhaps asked Bristol for reassurances that they will spend money and bring some players in to challenge for promotion. They can't guarantee him that and asked if a offer comes in he wants to talk to other clubs. No disresepect for Bristol but they are a few seasons away from mounting a serious promotion battle
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 i think £5.5m should be enough.. is he worth that much?
Jon the Hat Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 we've had two bids rejected 3.5 million and 4 million. cmon brizzle, surely thats enough???!!!??? http://www.bcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10327~2387236,00.html That is clearly a statement designed to 1) placate the fans and 2) get more money.
Darkon84 Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 because it doesn't tell us anything ergo it's pointless. i do wonder about some people on here haha As stated before, not every fan is on a forum, hooked to a saga like this . His tweet if for everyone to see. Its called journolism...letting the masses know news, no matter how small or insignificant to some
Guest Bilo Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 Offer £5,500,001. Purely so Ade Akinbiyi isn't our record signing any more. Sorted.
Simmo86 Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 I'm pretty sure it was 2-0 I don't even rememeber it. Remember beating them at Filbo in the cup the Wycombe year.

Madrid_Fox Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 we've had two bids rejected 3.5 million and 4 million. cmon brizzle, surely thats enough???!!!??? http://www.bcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10327~2387236,00.html Maynard has got 2 options. 1) He tells Bristol City that he does not want to sign a contract extension, and will therefore leave for free next year if an offer is not accepted, or 2) He signs a new contract, tells everyone that he does not wish to leave, then we can go our seperate ways.
Marmite Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 Tanner just refers us to the Bristol City official site which just confirms new bids on Nicky Maynard

No disresepect for Bristol but they are a few seasons away from mounting a serious promotion battle None taken, We should be top 10 pushing for the play-offs at least this coming season we finished quite strong last season and if it wasn't for the coppell disaster we would of been in with a good shout of the play-offs like yourselfs (we picked up 6 points from the first 11 games) Most of our fringe players are only contracted until 2012 once they run down you'll see us make a big push in player recurtment (hopefull the ground will be 6 months away by then as well)
Marmite Posted 6 July 2011 Posted 6 July 2011 Can finally go home now.....sat in my office everyone gone and I was here waiting for some good news
