Jonny Chee Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 A 'bargain' if you ask me, based on today's market. He will become an even better player under Ferguson too.
Jonny Chee Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 It'll be something like Dea Gea Rafael ferdinand vidic evra Young sneijder (scholes replacement -modric etc) Nani/Valencia Rooney Chicharito That midfield would be far too attacking! Needs a tough tackling workhorse in there for me, i.e Fletcher or a new signing. Can't see them getting Sneijder either...
Simmo86 Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Wouldn't be surprised to see them try and play Young in the same role Kingy plays for us
ScouseFox Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Young - Rooney - Nani Hendandez With the back three rotating amongst each other.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Giggs plays centrally now, they wont sign Sanchez, which leaves Park, Nani, Young and Valencia as the four wingers. Given that they usually play 50+ games a season and he likes to rotate I can't see it being a problem Yeah I know about Giggs, but he usually play wether it be in the middle nowadays or on the left. Completely forgot about Park! Good player aswell, so there's another to try fit in. Valenica, Park, Nani, Young, Giggs, Rooney, Berbatov, Hernandez are all good enough to play every week and none will be happy with a rotation system.
MikeyT Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Young - Rooney - Nani Hendandez With the back three rotating amongst each other. Yeah, i'd take that front 4 at Leicester i suppose.
ousefox Posted 24 June 2011 Posted 24 June 2011 Scott Carson having a medical at a Turkish club, very odd.
accessory Posted 25 June 2011 Posted 25 June 2011 Whisper on Twitter about West Ham signing Max Gradel. (which is in the LCFC Twitter thread even though he's no longer connected to us.. ) Maybe his family issues have played a part in this, but Leeds fans are likely to hate their manager and chairman even more...
Marcus LCFC Posted 26 June 2011 Posted 26 June 2011 Bristol City have signed Leeds United midfielder Neil Kilkenny on a three-year deal. Kilkenny's contract at Elland Road ran out this summer and he rejected a new one, amid reported interest from several other Championship clubs. The 25-year-old Australia international joined Leeds in January 2008 for £150,000 from Birmingham City. "The manager [Keith Millen] was fantastic and sold the club to me," he told BBC Radio Bristol. "The way he spoke about the club, about the game and about me - he made my mind up. "He described where the club wants to go and it fitted with my ambition, so that was the reason I joined." Brizzle have Ambition
millzi Posted 27 June 2011 Posted 27 June 2011 De Gea apparently having a medical at Man Utd according to Fourth_Official, I hope it's true, he's a class keeper and a great long term replacement for Van Der Sar. Can't wait to see him in the Prem.

But it could actually open up the door for Schmeichel...

Nick Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Mr. Rob Kelly nuzzling with Umbrella Boy...... http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/255462/Steve-McClaren-adds-Rob-Kelly-to-backroom-staff? Sorry if old news.
MC Prussian Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Sunderland are aparantly bidding £7m for Shane Long They've also put in £9m for Connor Wickham according to the Beeb.
accessory Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 They've also put in £9m for Connor Wickham according to the Beeb. A bid that Ipswich have accepted. Initial sum is £5m but add-ons could see this rise to £13m. Wickham is apparently waiting to see if Arsenal or Liverpool will match this offer.
Samilktray Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Never understood the fuss with Wickham, doesnt look like a £9 million striker whenever I've seen him.
lcfcsnow Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Did I just hear that Birmingham rejected a SIXTEEN MILLION POUND BID from STOKE for SCOTT DANN and CAMERON JEROME. What the fvuk is going on? I wouldn't even want Jerome at Leicester. How can Birmingham reject that much money for nothing more than two average Premier league players? What a joke that league has become, I blame Liverpool for taking it a step too far in signing Carroll and Henderson for 55 million.

You might have heard that, but it was more like £10 million I wouldn't class Dann as average at all. Jerome is. You also seem to be forgetting the YEP (Young English Player) Tax that contributed to those Carroll and Henderon prices.

You also seem to be forgetting the YEP (Young English Player) Tax that contributed to those Carroll and Henderon prices. It's a big mess considering one of the best young players in the world in Thiago is rumoured to be moving to Man Utd for £15 million. Why should English players be worth so much more than Spanish? We're rubbish at international football, apart from Rooney they're all average at best and foreigners in their teams make them look better than they are. I'd go as far as saying an all English Premier league team wouldn't get top half in the Premier league. The England U-21's haven't got a clue either, yet theres players in there rated at £20 million.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 £13million for Wickham?!?! Madness footballs becoming.
lcfcsnow Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 £13million for Wickham?!?! Madness footballs becoming. Couldn't get in the England U-21 team that had no idea how to score a goal in the Euro champs, says it all.
Bert Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 £13million for Wickham?!?! Madness footballs becoming. Even though BBC are saying £9m
Corky Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 £9 million is still a heck of a price. No wonder clubs look abroad for similar age players.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 28 June 2011 Posted 28 June 2011 Even though BBC are saying £9m Well the Guardians saying £13million.
