WEST HAM United have tabled a £3million offer for Newcastle United captain Kevin Nolan.

The Scouser rejected an extension to his current deal at United recently but is thought to be keen on seeing out the peak years of his career on Tyneside.

New Hammers boss Sam Allardyce wants Nolan to spearhead his promotion drive next season at Upton Park.

If he's willing to drop to the Championship, the sort of player we should be looking at.

What is with Liverpool at the moment. £20m for Henderson?! Surely there are cheaper better options than him. Not quite as bad as £35m for Carroll though, but £80m on Henderson, Carroll and Suarez. They could have spent that a lot wiser IMO

Suspect £20m is a maxed out figure to keep the Sunderland Fans happy. No doubt this is something like £10m actual fee, a supposed £5m valuation of Ngog, and a load of add ons which make it £20m if he helps brings the premiership, Champions league and FA CUP to Anfield, and the Euro and World Cups to England....

Still, they aren't pissing about at Liverpool are they?

So as a net deal Sunderland are looking on getting £8m, N'gog, Gibson, Brown and O'shea for the sale of Jordan Henderson?! He's definitely not that good.

Thought the deal was 13mil + Ngog?

With Sunderland stupidly rating Ngog at 7 mil!

As stupid as us rating Waghorn at £2-3m?

What?

In £13m plus Ngog, out £12m = £1m plus Ngog, Gibson, Brown and O'shea.

We should match that offer. That said I fully expect a PL club to make an offer for Nolan. Underrated player imo. :D

Burke signs for Birmingham according to Guardian.

Cardiff are haemorrhaging players lol

From Fourth_Official's Twitter:

DJ Campbell is a Sunderland target after he told Ian Holloway he wants to leave Blackpool because of ambition, not money.

Chopra signs a 3 year deal at Ipswich

Edit: in a move believed to be worth £1.5m.

Also Norwich have signed Bradley Johnson form Leeds on a free transfer

Chopra to Ipswich is a bit surprising for just £1.5m. They paid like £4m for him didnt they?

Cant see Cardiff doing anything next season.

Relegation?

In my opinion, I don't think Jordan Henderson's transfer of just under £20 million is that bad.

At this moment in time it sounds like a lot but the lad is what, 21? So he may have time to repay the fee. Sky Sports News highlighted his stats, and last season he created more chances than Lampard, Gerrard, Ashley Young and Raul Merieres. I think it will eventually prove good business.

With Manchester United, I don't rate that Jones. He hasn't signed yet, I've just read that the owners want £25 million. He looks fairly overweight to me. All the top clubs rave over him so he must have something, but I don't think he is worth the money that Manchester United are set to play.

At least the two transfers above are English players and the money stays in the country rather than going out of the country.
