the sad thing about this country is the media don't give a crap when the likes of Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea aren't in it. it's the same as when we won the league cups all you get is has the cup lost it's magic now the big teams aren't taking it seriously, to many games blah blah blah.

it will be a great day for boh sets of supporters, and I hope the best team wins!

all i wanna hear is Wembley rocking to this!!!

Frig it.... just realised it's on ITV so I have to watch it in "Lego-vision" because ITV don't do HD in Scotland... :(

They'll probably go to adverts just before a goal again, too...

I hate ITV.

Hoof. Hoof. HOOF. Hoofity. Hoof. HOOF.

Is that what anyone wants from the FA Cup winners?

Doubt it. Come on Man City!

Yes!

Come on stoke!

I really hope Stoke get a goal from a Delap throw in. All that money to get done over by a long throw lol.

:crylaugh:

Spoke to a United 'fan' today I said you watching the Cup Final today? Yeah he says, who you supporting? I said well i'll be looking at Man City to win, wouldn't say i'd be supporting them though, and he said 'You what? They've bought their success'

:crylaugh: Brilliant....

Having said that out all the top teams I like/would choose United, just the irony and bullshit that comes out of a plastics mouth makes me laugh.

How is that a difficult decision for the Asst Ref to make?

Posted

Because he's only got one set of eyes.

He's meant to be following the ball, keeping up with play, watching when it's passed, watching the runner as the ball is being played to see where he is, watching the backline of the opposition team, and watching for flailing arms from defenders.

That's a lot to watch for, all at the same time. And even with replays there's only certain angles that would make it look intentional.

To get every decision correct, we need video technology. That's a fact.

True but in this case the ball was on it's way there, he'd need to be checking Balotelli wasn't off side and Huth had to reach out to whack him so really no excuse.

Sørensen having a very good game. He still hasn't signed a contract... Go on Sven, work your magic

Hated that game when we went down, their fans weren't the most sympathetic.

lol

Some people just defy belief.

What were you expecting, hugs all round and words of consolation?

I can pretty much guarantee that you (along with most people hating Stoke for that very reason) would be a right cunt in a game Leicester were involved in if it sent the opposition down, you absolutely wouldn't be sympathetic.

The completely random hate for Stoke is just plain odd, they've thoroughly deserved their appearance today whatever the outcome and likewise next season's European participation.

Matt- think i'm reading your post right. How have man utd bought sucess? Its an argument I have with a few people who's hatred for them blinds them from seeing things correctly.

Man u happened to win the league when the premier league and consequently sky came into existance in our football world. Sure they've become mega rich compared to 15 years ago, but they became mega rich through the money injected by sky. (Whom I hate for taking the game from the working class) as opposed to becoming mega rich through an owner- ie man citeh and chelski.

I really dont understand why people begrudge man utd when they're only benefitting now from their sucess 15-18ish years ago.

Asha- how would you know? How many times have we met each other? Never had any problem with stoke til then.

I actually don't like this part of the season, seeing fans go through what we went through.

You proberly didnt go the stoke game. If you did can you not remember the fair few stoke fans who preferred to come over to our end of the pitch to goad us, choosing to take the mick out of our relegation as opposed to celebrating their automatic promotion?
