MC Prussian Posted 30 May 2011 Posted 30 May 2011 Cardiff are paying for their financial gambles. Here's to the Bluebirds going down to where they once came from - the oblivion of League One or even League Two.
jonthefox Posted 30 May 2011 Posted 30 May 2011 Bit Harsh that! can see him at West Ham next season, also think cardiff could be in a bit of a mess next season they needed to go up this year! I reckon thats why he's fooked off.
Finnegan Posted 30 May 2011 Posted 30 May 2011 Very good point. Ridsdale takes huge gambles financially with the teams he controls and shows little interest in the 'What if' his ideas amount to nothing. Then he sods off sharpish and allows others to dig clubs out of the shit. You meet many similar characters in business, but with so much loyalty and sentiment in football he should never be allowed within a mile of any league club. I'm so proud of you, dude. I feel like we're turning over a new leaf. I mean you just posted in a Cardiff thread without even hinting that they should be in the English league. Beautiful, man. I think I'm going to cry.
Bluebirds Boyo Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 Evenin' chaps. Couple of things I'd like to clear up here. Peter Risdale as chairman? says it all. Ruined Leeds for several years and looks like he has done it to Cardiff too..... He left a year ago when we were taken over by a Malaysian consortium, the bigwig of which is a bloke called Vincent Tan, worth £767m at the latest Forbes count. Which rules out this: I expect they will enter administration this summer. Cardiff are paying for their financial gambles. Here's to the Bluebirds going down to where they once came from - the oblivion of League One or even League Two. And I'm really confused how sacking and paying compensation to a manager on £800k p/a is the repercussion of financial gambling! This has cost money. Anyway, good luck for next season. You're one of the teams I'm mildly okay with, anyway.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 Evenin' Bluebird. I hope you go down, or at the very least flirt with relegation.
21st Century Fox Posted 31 May 2011 Posted 31 May 2011 According to the BBC Martin O'Neill is currently favourite for the Cardiff job though the club are playing this down. I would be pretty devastated if he took that job. I f**king hate Cardiff.

Bluebirds Boyo Posted 1 June 2011 Posted 1 June 2011 and yet he's let you flirt dangerously with administration on a couple of occasions. Funnily enough, there's been no court appearances for a while now.
davieG Posted 1 June 2011 Posted 1 June 2011 O'Neill will want a far bigger job surely? Biggest football job in Wales!
Narborough_fox Posted 1 June 2011 Posted 1 June 2011 Biggest football job in Wales! Well only one Welsh team is in the Premier League and last time I checked it weren't Cardiff. UP THE SWANS.
MC Prussian Posted 1 June 2011 Posted 1 June 2011 Funnily enough, there's been no court appearances for a while now. Funnily enough that doesn't mean that there's none just around the corner.
Bluebirds Boyo Posted 3 June 2011 Posted 3 June 2011 Funnily enough that doesn't mean that there's none just around the corner. Funnily enough it was "he's let you flirt dangerously with administration on a couple of occasions" I was responding to.
Cal Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 Am I the only one who doesnt actually mind Cardiff? Doubt they will mount a decent challenge this year though.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 4 June 2011 Posted 4 June 2011 Am I the only one who doesnt actually mind Cardiff? Doubt they will mount a decent challenge this year though. Yes. They think they are better than they actually are. They think they have a divine right to be in the Prem. They think they can run to the Welsh FA when it suits them and bend the rules without any consequences. Worst of all though, they think they are better than Swansea.
Fox92 Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 I like Dave Jones and although I wasn't suprised when he was sacked, I did feel abit for him because since his arrival, he made Cardiff secure and steady and has turned them from nothing to play off/promotion favourites every season. Even if they do always loose, at least they make the play offs. If we ever needed a manager and Jones was still out of work, I'd most certainly take him. Worst of all though, they think they are better than Swansea. Surely though, all clubs wil think this when it comes to their rivalry though?
Super_horns Posted 12 June 2011 Posted 12 June 2011 Looks like they are after Malky Mackay who has done a good job in tricky circumstances. He will be under much more pressure at Cardiff I presume...greater expectations.

He's had a very, very good squad the past two seasons and unfortunately hasn't made the most of it, play-offs or no play-offs.
Libertine Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 Mirror saying Shearer is being lined up for the job.
shailen Posted 14 June 2011 Posted 14 June 2011 It was this season or never for them and they failed!
