hackneyfox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 I certainly don't remember him being our best player by far, are you sure you haven't been asleep for 2 seasons? I find him frustrating not entertaining, entertaining was when we were in the third.
Lambert09 Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 I think it is fair to say he was our best player under sousa,,,which is what I think he meant. The game against Reading he was outstanding .....but tbh was the best of a bad bunch. Glad he has passion for the club but he will get pretty much no game time next year, im happy to have him sat there though
kingfox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Is this a joke? Don't know where you was for most of last season, sat at home listening to a radio? Not a very good winger...your strange
hackneyfox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 No he isn't Don't know where you was for most of last season, sat at home listening to a radio? Not a very good winger...your strange As a winger what does he actually do, does he beat a defender and get quality crosses in?
thybluefox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 No he isn't As a winger what does he actually do, does he beat a defender and get quality crosses in? We get it, you don't like him.
okie fox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 As a winger what does he actually do, does he beat a defender and get quality crosses in? Have you never seen him beat a defender with sheer pace? Lloyd Dyer is a useful player to have on the bench and bring on for the last 20 minutes. I hope he stays.
Rob1742 Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 I think Dyer must have tried to have a go on Hackneys missus, or cut him up in his car on the Narborough Road. He has spent all morning on here an Bentleys getting his point across how much he doesn't like him.
McFoxy Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 I think Dyer's not that bad. He's a little inconsistent, but we could quite easily sell him and end up with somebody not as good. Unless we have a better candidate for that position we may as well hang on to him. As for the like Vs Dislike, I like him
hackneyfox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Rob must be getting a go on Lloyd, he's spent all morning on Bentleys defending him.

hackneyfox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 There's naff all else to talk about at the moment, I'm just amused at the mass love in again. Someone has to keep the board going as Liam seems to have stopped posing his twitters.
psychonaut Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Interview with Dyer on radio Leicester... it so very insightful especially some of the training techniques they employ: RL: So Lloyd, pre season, the first time with sven what is it like this year? LD: It different, its harder i feel fitter RL: So what sort of things have you been doing? LD: Its different RL: Obviously we know about last years pre season, how has it changed this year? LD: ........ Its... different, its just different and harder

Petchy Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p00hnpmp Hopefully the link will work, this is what i heard. Its about 3:44:30 into it (near the end). Thanks!
Haydos Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Not good enough. Runs into corners/dispossessed too often when he inevitably loses control/his ball striking is truly awful, even with his 'stronger' left foot/can't cross. Prefer Vas/Gally/Nugent/Danns/Routledge this season.
Houdini Logic Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Rob must be getting a go on Lloyd, he's spent all morning on Bentleys defending him. Clearly he rejected your advances
ajthefox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Coming on as a sub and using his pace most effectively against tired legs works well, but as others have eluded to his end product simply isn't good enough most of the time. I'd still like us to keep him because as a squad player he is useful and you can't buy a whole new squad, but I don't really picture him starting many games next season.
funkyrobot Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Until we get an adequate wing replacement I don't see the need to sell dyer. I still think he can be effective at this level. He has got some skill and can beat his man more effectively than a lot of the city players which is why he plys his trade on the wing. He's not the only player at city who at times couldn't hit a donkey's arse with a banjo. Wellens and Howard spring to mind...

If Routledge comes, I guess that would be the, "adequate wing replacement". Lloyd to Hull ?
funkyrobot Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 If Routledge comes, I guess that would be the, "adequate wing replacement". Lloyd to Hull ? I guess, tho routledge is as inconsistent as dyer. I'd like two fast wingers on the books ideally so I'd still keep him for now. I don't see vass as a traditional winger btw.
dayday Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Dyer ......I love Leicester like, great club like...wanna stay like...i feel fit like....heard nothing from Sheff Wednesday like.
