Lewis deserves it tbf, he seems obsessed with hating on AJ

He called it as he saw it , not hating at all , he is paid at times to give an opinion and gives it , and he was never wrong about AJ

For me Lewis in his pomp would dismantle Fraudly Joshua inside 3 maybe less if he wanted to

I like it though, this is the Joshua I want or at least get behind, my biggest issue with him is I don't buy this bollocks, just feels like he does it to be as marketable as he is to be the face of under armour and lucozade and all that bollocks

I must admit I agree , when he drops the marketing mask you can see there is something nasty there, and I like that,  he will need that nasty streak to beat the fat Mexican , and he will beat the fat Mexican

Besides money I've got no idea why Ruiz has taken the fight in Saudi of all places.

I dunno what he must think of us if he thinks he's going to feel more comfortable in those surroundings than over here, yes he'd be facing a partisan crowd but he's in for a complete culture shock over there.

Ruiz is on foreign soil either way but this way he forces AJ out of his comfort zone.

New York or Vegas would be full of pissed up Brits singing as well tbf, I mean in Saudi he not only takes it away from Joshua's home but probably cuts off a lot of his travelling support.

It'll be weird for both of them.

I agree it’s mental , london is fun , Riyadh is a scary place (I have been to Riyadh and Jeddah) infact id also be sure a fight will be judged fairer in London than over there

I just think, at the end of the day, Ruiz probably wants to be as awkward as possible and you can't fault him. He obviously thinks AJ's biggest weakness is his brain and wants to unsettle him anyway he can.

AJ strikes me as a guy that's fairly smart in life but pretty thick in boxing, basically the opposite of Fury. He's well spoken, thoughtful, but in the ring he absolutely needs to have a plan. It all went out the window with Ruiz, short notice killed their prep, killed the gamelan, made him think on his feet against an unknown enemy which he's crap at.

Ruiz won't be an unknown quantity this time so he's got to rock the boat any way he can. No chance he'd ever agree to come to Wembley or Cardiff without a massive fuss.

Is the AJ V Ruiz fight 100% defo happening in Saudi?

I read yesterday that Ruiz hasn't signed yet and wants it in NYC again..

He signed before the first fight , now he is trying to find away to renegotiate that contract

Don’t think this has a lot to do with Ruiz having read into it a bit more. Think he’s still of the opinion he should be fighting in the US, Mexico or nowhere. As Gaelic said he’s pinned in because of contracts.

Think joshua has a huge advantage out there, he’s spent a lot of time in that part of the world and has a fan base there. To my knowledge Ruiz hasn’t been there at all.

Tyson doesn’t give two shits about Eddie Hearn. It’s all PR.

Although Gaelic is prolly wrong on this one Arum has him tied down and Arum will work with Warren over Hearn as Queensbury have no direct commercial involvement in the US.

I just don't see what he would gain from slagging Eddie off all the time. They clearly have a history as he was even doing it when he was with Mick Hennessy, who's one of the worst promoters out.

Like he is with Wladimir, I just think if Fury doesn't like you, he really doesn't like you. Not that it matters, but it is strange, these weird attacks he likes to make on people.

AJ's chin is questionable (at best), but I think if he comes into the fight with the right attitude he can beat Ruiz. But in all honesty, that just means a third fight and doesn't mean that AJ ist the better fighter.

I totally underestimated Ruiz. He can really box. Much better movement than AJ. But I guess AJ is working on that now. Too little, too late??

If AJ loses to Ruiz again his career is over imo. He couldn’t come back from that with any authority

He doesn’t give two shits about Wlad either it is literally all business.

If if you look hard enough you can find interviews where he even admits as much whilst his guard is down. He lays into Eddie purely because when he does he generates public interest and it gets people talking.

Lomachenko 1/16 to beat Campbell lol

Anyone watching Kovalev v Yarde on Sat?

Most definitely, think Kovalev will have a bit too much for Yarde but he is vulnerable and ageing so Yarde's got a chance if he puts in a grade A performance.
