Usyk is a generational talent, cleaned up the cruiserweight and then stepped up to heavyweight, where its land of the giants, and beat everyone of note. P4P great.

bit like American politics isn’t it? You just need to be a bum hair ahead in each round and it can look like a dominating win on the cards..

Not in boxing for me.

Especially in boxing. The physical conditioning of most modern athletes is just insane. I say that with complete awareness of how Tyson Fury turned up looking tonight lol

His weight didn’t match what he was trying tonight. He should have been lighter than ever if he was getting technical, and trying to use his hand speed against Usyk. If the tactic was to seriously use his weight to lean on usyk and try to slow him down, then he needs to sack his coaching staff lol terrible. Even I can tell you Usyk doesn’t slow down regardless of pressure

Only robbery tonight was Dave Allen. Moses is the real deal. So excited to see where 2025 takes him.

Usyk Fury was totally engrossing. Rounds felt like they lasted about 30 seconds. Right man got the decision

Draw was fair for me, but yeah no problems with Usyk taking it at all… not by 4 though

2 rounds seems fair based on the stats.

I had usyk by one and that was probably because I was in a Fury biased house watching Fury biased sky box office lol

Frank Warren almost went full Bob Arum after that. Embarassing

I always watch without the commentary, I had a draw, but I can forgive 1 or 2 of the middle rounds either way. Usyk no doubt worthy winner of what was actually a great contest in my view

Surprised none of the rounds were scored draws. I had a couple as too close to call

Only just seen the full score cards.

Id have had it 116-114 possibly 116-115

Ridiculous how this was scored and an injustice to fury who did well against the best heavyweight in my view. The first fight he gets a split decision when absolutely destroyed, then he steps up and gets a score that is unanimous by 4! I don’t get it,

I guess when you look at Boxecom and see the figures, it’s clear that Usyk was the far busier fighter. Usyk was also potentially losing some rounds then came back with a flurry of punches toward the end.

If the judges have seen it like that, then maybe the scores could have been wider.

I’d maybe got it as a draw at best for Fury.

Neither men looked like they wanted to engage like the Fisher / Allen fight. lol

Furys game plan didn’t work. Usyk just kept going like a swarm of bees and he just keeps landing those scoring punches.

Usyk is a generational talent. Especially for someone that picked up boxing so late.

I'm not a boxing expert and not 100% sure how the scoring system works but do you generally get draws? I know you can have split decisions etc.

If you had to 'give' a round to someone then for the majority it was Uysk. He was the more threatening, but for me i don't think anyone can deserve a win when neither looked close to achieving a KO.

You must’ve had no commentary on because the co comm didn’t give Fury any credit all night.

No way - disagree. Footballers of course are much fitter and conditioned than even 20 years ago, but there have been changes in boots, balls, pitches etc too so I'd never make direct comparisons there. In professional rugby union, almost a different sport I'd agree, as players are complete freaks nowadays. Tennis again I'd agree with you with developments rackets, footwear etc.

But boxing is two people face to face.  Ali, Frazier etc would train and condition for months. Just look at the brutal battles they had, 15 rounds in searing temperatures. Neither Usyk nor Fury has the skill of Ali, or indeed power in the case of say Frazier, Foreman or Tyson, hence my comment. So  comparisons are easier with boxing in my opinion than many other sports.

And did it all in 23 fights!

Dubois vs Usyk for the belts.

Joshua vs Fury at Wembley for the money and retirement.

Dubois got to beat Parker and i don't think he will

You always have to show alot more or KO if your the challenger.

Always been the same and always will.

Usyk may not have won by the margin of the judges but he still wins that.

Wins a win and no way could you give that fight to the challenger

Absolutely; Usyk getting the result was deserved, he was brilliant, but the margin of the win tells you how bad the judges can be.

Ooooooft, some KO by Opetaia. Got to be Gilberto Ramirez next for all the belts. Will be a hell of a scrap, sounds like they're aiming for April/May for that one
