leicesterisme Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 People seem to forget were picking up away points against the better sides in the league. When we go to places like Donny that's when we will go for all 3. Great point.
shiv Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Clean sheet is good but puts more pressure on Saturday's result.
Fox 4 Life Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 To be fair if you look at our last 5 games, (4 against playoff level teams) we have 9 points from 15, not bad. Clean sheets are definitely encouraging
Scaramanga! Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Good point away from home against a team in form.
Libertine Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Nothing going forward again but a good point.
Happy Fox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 People seem to forget were picking up away points against the better sides in the league. When we go to places like Donny that's when we will go for all 3. Great point. Like Barnsley
Brooksy Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 3 clean sheets in a row against 3 sides in the top six. Draw your aways and win your home games. Just gotta beat direby now.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Alex... is it kokopops? Answer - no, he's got more sense.
topharry123 Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Not a bad result, can't say that i'm impressed with the way we played (from what i can tell via foxes player anyway) but a point away from home against one of the better sides in the league right now is encouraging. Bring on a win on Saturday !
Jace Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 good result foxes, boro are the only unbeaten team in the league and another clean sheet when u think back a few games ago when leaking goals was our problem main problem it shows the team are improving
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 2 good draws. Very good that we are now keeping clean sheets, we look hard to beat as well at the moment. Only good draws if we beat Derby though. Though with Cardiff beat Soton tonight, our point there looks better too.
phildw Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 2 points from 6 and goals for: 0. Not good enough?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 I can see everyone saying, "we should play 4-3-3. 4-4-2 clearly doesn't work!" <_<
samuel Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Not losing against the leaders is very encouraging........ Clean sheet......I think the game is now on!!!
Corky Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Not happy with a draw at Barnsley, but Boro isn't too bad. They're unbeaten in a long time and will be right up there, and we've lost no ground on the top two in these away matches. We do need to win on Saturday though. At least we're not leaking goals for fun away from home this season.
Grewks Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Would have taken two points from those games providing we beat Derby, that will make them good draws. 3 clean sheets in a row is very pleasing indeed, hopefully the defence has sorted its act out now. Totally agree, the games we need to target are away at donny, milwall etc. There is no point QPR expecting wins at Man Utd Chelsea or Man city. Man utd won the title with the worst ever away record, end of.
Guest shearfox Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Good point, we won't get much harder games than an in form Boro away.
baylisslcfc Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 I'll always take 1 point away from home. Well...Most of the time anyway.
Salieri Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Would have taken a point before the game, good result. Good to see we have shaped up at the back with another clean sheet, just gotta start creating more chances and being a bit braver. That's EIGHT games unbeaten (including the cup game at Cardiff), and we've faced some tough teams during that run. Overall, pretty pleased and no reason why we can't keep this run going, fancy us to turn over Derby on Saturday.
Donut Posted 28 September 2011 Posted 28 September 2011 Scrappy sounding game but would have probably taken a point before the game so reasonably happy with the result
