As in he wanted the players to be living within a certain distance of Leicestershire and a few of the players kicked up, got pissed off and the Millwall preparation was then forked, hence the dreadful display and result.

Is that why Danns was dropped?

Wow.

Disgraceful from the players if true, they should live closer to the club if they are to play there if I'm honest.

Wonder who said players were, I know Gallagher and Wellens drive down from up north every day.

And these are the kinds of 'professionals' we have at the club? Healthy future the club has then.

What a f**kin disgrace, what is wrong with the players FFS why not live in the vicinity of Leicestershire it is not as if they cannot afford a nice luxurious house

Sh!t! Didn't realise it was that serious!

Sounds like he'd lost the plot as well then. You'd have thought he'd have dealt with that issue when he signed the players.

Sounds fair enough, like Sven said after the match the players looked tired, Sven should of made this clear when he signed the players though. Its a shame a decent result on Saturday and we would all be laughing right now. I hope Top and co have a plan

What, having to up sticks and move their settled families? To be honest I can see both sides. Sven said training was being disrupted.

If this is true, the players should be even more ashamed of themselves and the woeful display on Sat.

I liked Sven as a bloke, even if I questioned his 1 dimensional tactics - he deserved to go on this, not players throwing strops.

But was it guys he signed if it was wellins and gally. was nothing to do with sven.

And if it was gally wellins or the old boys that would piss off the new guys.

Having to up sticks to earn the living that they earn yes. The families should know this when they are earning a lot more than the average person.

If I moved to earn more money, I'd have to be prepared to up sticks and move my family.

But then again I suppose that's easier said than done as I am only young and don't have a family to look after.

I can see both sides too, but if training is disrupted it must be hard for the manager.

Isn't that what professional footballers do? Heaven forbid that Sol Bamba wanted to commute.......

Quite new to this Forum Bert so excuse my ignorance but.................... How do you know all this !!!!!

I think we'd need more specific information before we judged anyone - what exactlly was said, the tone it was said, etc.

Having said that, pro footballers getting mardy and kicking off over nothing is hardly unrealistic.

Training was never disrupted during Pearson's reign :dunno:

We don't know that, it might've been set up in another way.

Different managers hae different ways of operating.

Lots of people commute to work. So long as they get to training on time I don't see the issue. You have to be realistic, you can't expect all the players to live in Leicester. The issue would appear to be that they couldn't get to training.

Oh good grief what a mess this is.

Agreed, arses need a serious kicking.

True.

There was talk at the end of last season that the Gallagher's were looking for houses in Leicestershire so maybe its something Sven has tried to get for a while.
