Simmo86 Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Wouldn't reid too much into it. You've got to be joking
absolutelegend Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 9. Keane appointed Leicester manager NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Hahahahaaa Billy or Peter? Please let them moprh so we can have both! Peter Reid's got a ****ing monkeys head, a ****ing monkeys head, a ****ing monkeys head...........
MC Prussian Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Don't criticise the Thai owners, you'll get the whole post removed Hey - that's censorship! *Knock on the door* "Who's that?" "Forum police"
RowlattsFox Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 I laughed off this rumour at first. But now I'm getting nervous
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 As a labrador owner myself... and for the use of the word 'goober', I'm supporting this. Keane all the way! Id love to see him drop that **** Stinger if he questions a decision!
Happy Fox Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Fourth_OfficialFourth Official @ @aidbyrne @bertlcfc @james_fielden @stringersport nothing on keane from my end, just mark Hughes as from the start 16 minutes ago
ithuriel Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 maybe this is a clever ploy, say Keane, then whoever get's the job is seen as better
Len Finsbury Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Id love to see him drop that **** Stinger if he questions a decision! Press conferences would be like that one at Newcastle with Joe Kinnear! "Which one is Ian Stringer?"
BIEREDeLuxe Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 maybe this is a clever ploy, say Keane, then whoever get's the job is seen as better Yes, that was my initial reaction. Show them the crock of shit they COULD appoint then appoint the 'real' one and they accept him no question.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Keane wins 3 games on the bounce and the boo boys will love him their new hero. Apparently MON recommened him according the Daily Mail. I quite like the idea of him. He wil not take any sh*t, and has a will to win attitutude. Ipswitch didn't work out but thats not to say he will not fly with us. Personally don't think he'll be as bad as others say. Maybe it is that all our squad lacks is passion and fight as we have the players to go up - that is something which he can definitely instill.
seenitall Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 At least Keane has some passion - it's a far cry from a big name that we would hope to have and , in my opinion, a far cry from the quality of manager and ability to attract name players that Sven provided (he's gone - or been removed stupidly, get over it, I know) but difficult for Beckford et al to argue with. He is also a winner by nature, has achieved promotion in the past and has failed elsewhere, which makes him the same as every manager we are looking at Personal prejudices aside, if he comes here we should get behind him, but I get the feeling the days of supporting the club through thick and thin so as to enjoy the highs when and if they come are long over and he will be given 3 or 4 games and then called a w**ker and booed unless he has won them all playing flowing football, letting in no goals and scoring a hatful (min expectation 3 per game now??) whilst continuing to stroke the puppy in his picture and doing the job for no money. As it is, whoever gets the job will not be able to easily get us into the top 2 now and so they will be seen as a failure - and we all know what happens when little Top doesn't get his way don't we?
Callabinho Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 I think this could be just paper talk, I'm pretty convinced by Thursday at 6 o'clock Mark Hughes will be our new manager!

I think you're confusing passion for thuggishness seentall. Can't say that I noticed Ipswich playing with much passion. Quite the opposite. The way they immediately improved when he slung his hook suggests they didn't even want to play for the bloke.

Bellend Sebastian Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 If only Roy, instead of being honest, had said that 'he would never want to hurt a fellow professional', which is what all other players say after deliberately hurting a fellow professional. He'd have saved himself no end of bother. Perhaps he's got some sort of mental illness - at least that'll give him something to bond with the fans over

Or that stuffed us at Portman Road last Christmas? Why do so many correspondents seem afraid of success?
l444ry Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 The same Ipswich that Keane took to a cup semi-final? Or that stuffed us at Portman Road last Christmas? Why do so many correspondents seem afraid of success? Yes, the very same! I'm sure Ipswich took all that into consideration yet still sacked him. Says it all don't you think?
Libertine Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Winning a complete farce of a game in snow. Managerial deity.
accessory Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Winning a complete farce of a game in snow. Managerial deity. It was significant how he owned both Sven and the ref that night to get a win he and his team should never ever have been entitled to. But sometimes those are the kind of tactics you need to be a success in this league. It was a lesson which Sven and other City managers before him never quite got to grips with.
davieG Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 Wouldn't reid too much into it. I'd settle for Susanna Reid
Bellend Sebastian Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 I'd settle for Susanna Reid She's amazing. I love her
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 2 November 2011 Posted 2 November 2011 I'd settle for Susanna Reid She is one foxy bitch! Bet she loves up up the gary!

So what happened to his tactics in the games where it wasn't snowing? If I didn't know better I'd think you a wum with some of the things you're coming out with.
