lcfcsnow Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Who the hell is this idiot on the radio??? I wasn't aware Kasper saved us last week.....! Well I can see what he's saying. He saved Palace equalising when we were 1-0 up, could have been a different game if he hadn't pulled that off. He seems as keen on Pearson as me.
Corky Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Who the hell is this idiot on the radio??? I wasn't aware Kasper saved us last week.....! His save at 1-0 was crucial v Palace. They were on top at the time. The scoreline didn't tell how important his save was.
One Arm Babba Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 yawn! what a nob on the radio. I dont understand why pricks like him follow City. **** off n support Man Utd or Barcalona you willy puller. .... I'm Leicester through and through.... not got a season ticket though mark you ****!
cc_star Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 As an addendum to my post home win, away draw, home win... get used to them. Just got the unknown 'holloway factor' to get over
cc_star Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 We'd have lost that under Sven. That is perhaps the salient point, we went a goal down & DIDN'T lose
One Arm Babba Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 My god!!! why the **** do BBC Radio Leicester put mentalists on the radio? There must be a Forest fan vetting the calls. All these spackers are genuinely retarded.
Guesty Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Who the hell is this idiot on the radio??? I wasn't aware Kasper saved us last week.....! He had a decent point. Just the way he asked the question and the way he acted after he got a reply made him seem like a bit of an idiot.
John Matrix Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 would have been nice to get into the playoffs considering how the other results went today..also to break the back to back wins curse. still, rescued a point away from home.
martyn Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Just in the car leaving pompey. Draw was fair, both sides had periods of play without having the quality to make a killer pass. 6 and 7 out of 10 performances across the side. See Beckford is getting some stick, he looked sharper today imo, and was more use in general play.
Swalker Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 That guy just stole my point!!! Isn't it the keepers job to save shots from going into the goal??
Simmo86 Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Take a point. As others have said, we wouldn't of got jack from that under Sven. Tuesday is now a must win though!
cc_star Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 draws against teams that are near the bottom of the league Portsmouth are just 2 wins behind us.... hardly a massive gulf They've won 5 home games this season same us... hardly pushover Look at the facts before jumping to conclusions Also, how many times have we grabbed a draw after going a goal down under the previous lot? the improvement continues, but it is going to be slow & hard!
J.Lisemore Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Win your home games. Draw your away games = play offs or higher. Yes, of course we would of liked a victory today but we were playing a side who are very good at home, a draw is a good result.
Kitchandro Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 That guy just stole my point!!! Isn't it the keepers job to save shots from going into the goal?? True, I don't see how the goalkeeper making good saves makes us lucky, that just means we've got a competent/good goalkeeper. We were better than Palace end of story for me, 3-0 flattered us but we deserved the win.
Ambitious Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 True, I don't see how the goalkeeper making good saves makes us lucky, that just means we've got a competent/good goalkeeper. We were better than Palace end of story for me, 3-0 flattered us but we deserved the win. We've got one of the best goalkeepers in the world! Like Father Like Son With Kasper between the Sticks We could have the championship won
Kitchandro Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 That's another thing I like about Nigel. Sven would have said this was a good point, Pearson is not completely happy with it. He always demands more. I remember in the league one games where we'd win comfortably but concede 1 and he'd still say he was disappointed with it. We need to have that perfectionist attitude right through the squad.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Just in the car leaving pompey. See Beckford is getting some stick, he looked sharper today imo, and was more use in general play. I'm confused.. Why should Beckford need to 'look sharper'? He's a premiership striker that should be looking 'sharp' already? Shouldn't he? Are you saying that Sven knocked his confidence, played him wrongly such that Pearson has got to 'improve him'. I would expect Beckford to be good now, not 'getting better'
Guest shearfox Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Well I can see what he's saying. He saved Palace equalising when we were 1-0 up, could have been a different game if he hadn't pulled that off. He seems as keen on Pearson as me. Goalkeepers are part of the team, we have a brilliant one so we weren't lucky we were just too good...
Vlad the Fox Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 True, I don't see how the goalkeeper making good saves makes us lucky, that just means we've got a competent/good goalkeeper. We were better than Palace end of story for me, 3-0 flattered us but we deserved the win. Plus why do people assume if he didn't make the save it would have been a different game. We could go straight up the field and score another.

Are you saying that Sven knocked his confidence, played him wrongly s uch that Pearson has got to 'improve him'. I would expect Beckford to be good now, not 'getting better' No, don't put words in my mouth Beckford was getting stick, I'm giving perspective to his performance by saying he looked sharper (read; played ok).
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Last time under NP we picked up many draws away from home and nicked the odd win. We had good home form which I think will be the key once again.
Matt Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Mixed feelings, happy but a slight hint of disappointment. A good point in the circumstances, sounds like Kasper saved us once again, Beckford seems to be improving under Pearson's man management, Shame we couldn't have nicked it but it'll be a good point if we win on Tuesday but only if we win Tuesday.
One Arm Babba Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 goodnight folks. a good point... roll on tuesday. 3pts will be lovely.
acooling08 Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Happy with a point after going behind with 20 minutes to go.
Wycombe Fox Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 On thr ferry home with about 300 Portsmouth fans. Keeping my head down. I thought their support was very poor - they seem noisier on the ferry. They only sang briefly immediately after scoring.
