Happy Fox Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 SkyBet Sky Bet We have suspended betting on the next Premier League manager to go after seeing significant, sustained betting on Steve Bruce to leave #SFC
StanSP Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Mission accomplished for Newcastle's under-cover agent
Corky Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 They're not in the bottom three, they only lost 2-1 at home to Wigan, two victories this season, just 15 points behind Newcastle. What's the problem?
Guest MattP Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 If it was Sven some on here would be saying still 80 pts to play for....
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Dont particulary rate or not rate Bruce, think he is very very average. MON would do well there I think.
purpleronnie Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 I'd be surprised if MON went there, but the bookies arent often wrong.
ScouseFox Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 I'd be surprised if MON went there, but the bookies arent often wrong. Take it you weren't around when we were looking for a new manager then
John Matrix Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 unfortunately he's got to go. bring back roy keane
Bryn Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Decent club for O'Neill, there's a lot of potential at Sunderland that noone has ever got around to tapping into.
Fox92 Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 I think Martin O'Neill supports Sunderland. Doesn't he? edit: Just read that he does in fact support Sunderland (and Celtic). I would not be suprised if he joined.
Leicesterpool Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 I think it might be David O'Leary, due to the connection he has with Niall Quinn. I'm not sure if O'Neill would join, he maybe a supporter but would he want to take the risk that Micky Adams did when he managed Sheffield United, get the sack from a club he supports. EDIT: Just found out he's no longer the chairman of Sunderland. Though I still think it will be O'Leary.
Kitchandro Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 I think Martin O'Neill supports Sunderland. Doesn't he? edit: Just read that he does in fact support Sunderland (and Celtic). I would not be suprised if he joined.

Tielemans63 Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 I think Martin O'Neill supports Sunderland. Doesn't he? edit: Just read that he does in fact support Sunderland (and Celtic). I would not be suprised if he joined. I was going to post the same. With significant funds available from Ellis Short I wouldn't be surprised if he took this job if it came up.
Dan Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 If it was Sven some on here would be saying still 80 pts to play for.... He's got to go tbh.
Corky Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 He's signed some good players for Sunderland in the summer. O'Shea, Brown, Bendtner, Larsson, Gardner, Westwood, Wickham. They shouldn't be in 16th place.

purpleronnie Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Take it you weren't around when we were looking for a new manager then I did say often.
Guest MattP Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 He's got to go tbh. Absolutely, terrible job considering resources available and sides like Norwich looking comfortably top half. How much did he spend on Wes "beans" Brown? Terrible terrible stuff...
Bert Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Yep. With O'Shea and Brown in the team they should be lower! Wes Brown the most decorated English defender you mean?
Guest MattP Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Wes Brown the most decorated English defender you mean? Incredible how many medals he has considering how shit he actually is.
Bert Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Incredible how many medals he has considering how shit he actually is. Come on now. He might make a few mistakes, who doesn't? He's certainly not shit, and he'd walk into our team if we got in the prem.
ousefox Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Come on now. He might make a few mistakes, who doesn't? He's certainly not shit, and he'd walk into our team if we got in the prem. Spot on.
