FrankieADZ Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 just proves with the majority of them being Sven buys....that Sven really didnt know the league well enough.
lcfcsnow Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Howard's useless? We wouldn't have even scored today if he didn't get his flick on! Big deal, we probably pumped 50-100 long balls up to him all game, enough for him to get one right.
katieakita Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Young still defending midfielders, wheres Abe, Fernandez, Johnson and Danns.
VinceNoir Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Week after week it's the same. Dissapointing result. Manager says it's an unpredictable league. Player comes out and says any team in this league can go on a run. Another player says we can't afford any more slip-up's. Matchday comes and the fans are full of optimism. Dissapointing result again.
martyn Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Yes it's a crap result, yes our season is disappearing fast but just take a breath for a moment. Pearson has been here 6 games, it's not enough to sort out an under performing and grossly imbalanced squad. That he picked the starting XI he did today is another discussion. Just look how Hull are doing now with the side Pearson assembled, it is going to take time. If the Thais aren't going to afford anyone any patience to build something, then we are not going anywhere fast except for perpetual disappointment and financial catastrophe. We have money in Jan, I trust Pearson/Walsh a darn site more than Sven to spend this money prudently and address our many issues of which Pearson will be acutely aware.
cc_star Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 4 of the starting 11 are pearson signings So the bulk of the side is who's? That explains it
kingfox Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 I am very very frustrated, and don't want to sound like a utter idiot but... Schmeichel, has been utterly fantastic this season and put's most of our signings to shame, Peltier and Konchesky have been consistent and Nugent has done very well, but then we come to the problems. Mills, a total waste of money, yes he didn't play today but he likes to hoof the ball, can't pass the ball out of defence and is very very sloppy with tackles. St Ledger can head a ball very well, and plays it out of defence which I like, but a game doesn't go by without him making some sort of error. Bamba was absolutely fantastic for the first bit of the season, now under Pearson cracks are starting to appear. Midfield, Dyer and Gallagher as wingers are decent but not good enough. Dyer runs and tries so hard but his end product is absolute rubbish, and Gallagher is a very hit and miss type of player. Central midfielders, Wellens has frustrated me so much this season, just chips it into the box so many times, and plays to many sideways balls. And for King he has done absolutely nothing this season. Strikers we have no firepower, Beckford was meant to be our 20 goal a season man and he can't hit a flaming barn door to save his life. He might come to form but it's getting a little bit too late in my opinion. Big Steve is Big Steve, simply not a goalscorer. Johnson hasn't been seen for months now, and dropping poor Yuki and Gelson for no utter reason was also a mistake. We need to take a serious look at ourselves, after the last three results, because some players need to be dropped and some don't even deserve to wear our shirt. Rant Over.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Some of you so called 'fans' are the disgrace. I bet you will all be saying 'we are going up' the next game we win. I am genuinely shocked that some of our 'fans' have stooped to Forests level. Get ****ed all you pessimistic twats and dont come back when we beat ipswich. Cnutssss If we beat Ipswich...
Simmo86 Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Need to spend another 15 million to sort this shit out! Still too soft, still can't control games and still ****ing awful! Roll on January when hopefully Wellens, King, Gally, Dyer and Howard can be ****ed off! Angry!!!!
yorkie1999 Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Sol bamba as target man that way he can't f up in defence aka walsh
SMX11 Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Pearson needs the balls to tell some of these 'players' to **** off and get new clubs. St Ledger, Bamba, Wellens, Howard are the main ones that need culling among many others that aren't good enough. We are so weak mentality whenever we concede we just go to shit and the players just hide.

Me too, his obsession with signing a Premier League forward in the summer allowed many others to fly under the radar (Billy effin Sharp for a start) and that Premier League forward is having a nightmare, coincidentally the same nightmare is being shared by many other summer signings like Mills, SSL & others
One Arm Babba Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 I'm sick of being duped by this team. Under performing week in week out. Tuning in to listen against sides like Doncaster is depressing enough. But to be put through that debacle is a disgrace. A MAJOR shake up in January is required. Wellens - not good enough Gally - not good enough King - what's happened to you??? Dyer - not good enough St Ledger - not good enough Beckford - not good enough Howard - too old I'm well pissed off. We can forget anything this season. Although if we carry on like this a relegation scrap looms!
Stig the Lawnmower Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Just not good enough. Lost 2-1. How long do the Thai's remain patient? Midfield poor again, especially King and Wellens. Wasted 100s of chances. Top 2 absolutely out of our reach. Play offs unlikely. This. wasn't there and can only judge by the god awful radio leicester commentary, but again midfield sounded very poor, and the substitutions were too late, should have been changes a lot earlier. bit worried
MPH Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 we have ( mostly) svens signings to fit svens style of play , playing in Pearsons style... and yet bizarrely its pearsons players who look the bobbest.

Effin yeah because the last £15m was put to great use with Mills & Beckford & the other astronomically high earners Pantsil, Konch, Danns, Johnson have all been so absolutely brilliant
Guest BlueBrett Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 what a shit day. still, could be worse - we could be Forest.
FrankieADZ Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 Me too, his obsession with signing a Premier League forward in the summer allowed many others to fly under the radar (Billy effin Sharp for a start) and that Premier League forward is having a nightmare, coincidentally the same nightmare is being shared by many other summer signings like Mills, SSL & others I think Mills is a Pearson sorta player....just not the price tag of course. I have to agree with you; Walshy,Pearson seem to have a far greater knowledge of the lower leagues(reserves too) compared to Sven; who as you said seemed to have an "Obsession" with big name players. Also some players in the team atm...seem to be "comfortable" with there performances...dont seem to be going the extra mile as they dont fill challenged for there place in the team. I'd be certainly tempted to give a try with some of the younger lads like Moussa and Jeff...as tbf they cant do any worse than how we've been doing the last 3 games.
Christoph Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 I dont even want us to get promoted if we can't beat a team like Doncaster
S-win Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 what a shit day. still, could be worse - we could be Forest.

Cnutssss I'm not a pessimist, I'm just a fan that isn't looking through blue tinted specs and can see that there is something seriously lacking in the team. We need a goal hungry striker. We need 'wide midfielders' or WINGERS. We need players to play for each other, not just turn up for their very healthy pay packet. I have never stated we'll be going up, it'll be easy for us etc I challenge you to prove other wise. You can't be happy with where we are and how we're playing.
Legend_in_blue Posted 17 December 2011 Posted 17 December 2011 "I've seen him (Bamba) more turned off than Crossroads..." Brilliant.
