Don't understand why Nigel brought Howard in for Beckford. Beckford looked dangerous when he came on, and did more than Dyer did all game. One of the worst game's I have ever been too.

I really hope we get some one in for both Wellens and Gallagher they were terrible. Wellens i have tried to stick up for, but not today he was shit. Gallagher gave his usual lacklusture performance.
 Gallagher is not a away from home player. Everyone bangs on about the goals he scores, but ho many have come away from home in the league? 3 i think. Against Watford last season and Burnley this. Not good enough. I still blame Sven though. He assembled the squad and NP is doing the best he can at the moment and its too early to start criticising all the time. Two wins over xmas and we will be back on track.

As always players don't go out to play bad, but it doesn't matter these players at the moment are not good enough, and if they are not good enough, will be replaced. Not going to boost morale but its the truth and might give them a kick up the backside. I don't care whether it's Jermaine Beckford or Iain Hume, Matt Mills or Bruno N'Gotty, Andy King or Andy King. These current players are getting paid hansom for doing a similar job to Hume, N'Gotty, and those players of poor season after poor season, and ultimatly just abit of waste of money. I understand Beckford didn't play a whole game today, or Matt Mills but pick any player today or from pretty much all this season and my point still stands, ok we're mid-table but we are mid-table and struggling the only difference between now and years ago is that the players are on a hell of alot more money.

Tried to get a striker in Beckford wasn't his first choice but his messing around cost us a CMS, Yak and a Maynard. Wingers was his downfall in not bringing any in. He had the intentions but got it horribly wrong. I think people are underestimating the Wellens and Gallagher's they are bunch of egotistical tw*ts that are f**king up this team ethic if it ever existed.

Pearson should take some responsibility for this, yes, because it was obvious on 55 that we'd conceded the initiative (I was screaming to make a change when they nearly scored on the hour) and he waited until we'd let in two to make a change, but seriously, if you think any of the above have at some point this season shown themselves to be a class apart then you simply haven't taken any notice! Our problem is that our only physical attacking force is older than time itself, on top of that everyone in the world knows Nugent can't score goals (averages about 1 in 3.5 in his career), Beckford is a good Lg.1 player and no more,Schlupp is massively overrated (though possibly worth a shot on the grounds that the rest aren't up to scratch). In midfield our wingers are only borderline Championship standard. However, before slating the midfield remember this: They've scored half of our goals since Sven left (and we've scored in all bar one of those games, unlike Sven's last six games when we failed to score in four of them). They also create a lot of chances which we conspire to spurn. On the other hand you're all desperate to bum the defence, although Donny had only scored six at home all season but hit two against us. We average nearly -2 per game with St. Ledger in defence. And although we love Schmeichel's spectacular saves he could have done better with the second today, and he cost us points against Forest and possibly even Birmingham. As for Bamba, well, he epitomises everything a Championship defender shouldn't be. He's one for those among you who said you'd prefer to see nice football than to be promoted. I'm still unsure whether it was right to fire Sven but we have to be honest about what he brought in. Bamba? An ineffective luxury. The common denominator in poor defences. Mills? Disappointing to date. Of the rest only Peltier has truly excelled. Schmeichel is a highlights goalkeeper. Konchesky is unspectacularly effective, and 30. We had a statistically far better defence in 09-10 and let it go for nothing, replacing it with vastly more expensive and ultimately inferior players. The midfield and attacking signings were negligible. It's starting to look like Sven's honeymoon was sweeter than Pearson's will turn out to be. The difference? Sven's best days as our boss were with Pearson's team. Pearson's worst period as City boss to date has been with Sven's. And if you need any more evidence just look at Hull - and it's a dumb argument to say 'they're a lot better off without Nige'. If we want to go up we need to give NP time to build. And if we do,and if we can wait, then we will go up... ...eventually.

Just proves we arent up to much with Mills set to walk back into the team. For me 2 CB, 2 lung bursting box to box midfielders and a winger with a brain are a must in January if we are to rescue anything from this season. Could not believe Howard started, and to think we were talking 6 months ago he was on his way to a league one side! it just says we have nothing through the middle, nothing quick enough to get the ball moved around fast enough and up to nuge or beckford so we lump it up to Howard. Many changes required for Ipswich.
