smitha Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Was down the training ground earlier, when Fernandes left he shook everyone's hand and said that today was his last day at the club, top bloke even spoke to small group of fans and wished Leicester well, off to Udinese. Pantsil also hasn't been seen for a week or more according to a player has malaria and is in Ghana.
Libertine Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Inevitable with Pearson. Let's just hope he doesn't stick with Wellens & King.
flowwolf Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Only a loan player but I thought he had potential. But I wish him the best as he always gave his best when he played for us.
Corky Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Think he would have offered something if given a run in the team (playing as a defensive midfielder). Waste.
sphericalfox Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Well that stands to Nigel's indifference when questioned about him. It's a shame, but he was brought here on Sven's tenure, and if he doesn't want to be here, or isn't wanted here, then good luck to him.
ousefox Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Always seemed a very nice guy, but not really needed and NP is doing the right thing in balancing the team out.
SemperEadem Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Will always remember Cov away where he bossed the game.
Jollie Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 I'm sorry he's gone, I think he still had a part to play if Pearson was interested. Wouldn't be surprised if Johnson was next.
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Will never forget his debut at Coventry. Probably the best debut I've ever seen. Shame really because Wellens and the rest of the midfield are useless. Only Leicester can have a Swiss international, who got the winner vs Spain in the euros making the bench and play somebody that only trains 3 days a week.
Happy Fox Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 John__Percy John Percy Gelson Fernandes is flying to hold talks with #Udinese tonight. #LCFC
Craig Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Edit; Beaten to it. Would appear to be true then. Laughable.
cc_star Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Inevitable with Pearson. Let's just hope he doesn't stick with Wellens & King. Inevitable with a player who only came here for a manager & not for a single other reason Wish it had have worked out differently myself, he showed flashes of being really good, but like most (except Pelts, Kasper & probably Nuge & Konch) here failed to dominate play in his position & didn't hold his place down. If anyone don't want to be here they can feck off as far as I'm concerned
Narborough_fox Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Exact reason why I didn't want Pearson. Got his favourites and picking Wellens over Fernandes is laughable. Such a waste.
ramadaone Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Always seemed a very nice guy, but not really needed and NP is doing the right thing in balancing the team out. Not really needed ?!? Balancing the team out ?!? I take you have looked at the league table ? Presume you think that ignorant tw*t Wellens is a better bet
Ricey Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Perhaps Pearson wanted to keep him but he wanted out after Sven left? We don't know the facts.
Happy Fox Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 NP infuriates me for sticking up for golden boy Wellens the c**t over Fernandes not impressed at all.
I am Rod Hull Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Think he would have offered something if given a run in the team (playing as a defensive midfielder). Waste. Huge waste... :xmassad:
dave_the_fox Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 NP infuriates me for sticking up for golden boy Wellens the c**t over Fernandes not impressed at all. See Riceys post above yours...
breadandcheese Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 I never really saw in him what others did and think that his first game at Cov was his peak, but think it's a waste he's gone. If it saves a big wage off the bill, then fair enough. Udinese are also a better proposition than us currently, so I imagine he would have wanted to go anyway.
Tielemans63 Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 I thought he was brilliant in the Cov game and came away thinking he was going to be the main man for us this season. However, to be fair, he was largely anonymous in his other performances IMHO. Still, I wish him the best of luck in his career.
ousefox Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 Not really needed ?!? Balancing the team out ?!? I take you have looked at the league table ? Presume you think that ignorant tw*t Wellens is a better bet There is no need for the thousands of central midfielders we already have. Pearson obviously believes we have better options and i agree. Yeah he was decent but i never saw any evidence that he is better than what we have. Sven picked others over him too. This myth about him having an amazing debut is a lie as well. He was good against Cov but did nothing special- just noticed because of his running. A good player but no loss to us.
FrankieADZ Posted 29 December 2011 Posted 29 December 2011 shame the fella's gone, If he was ever avaible again I'd welcome him back he with open arms. Good luck to the fella. and if he goes to Udinese I hope he can show everyone want a talented player he is
